Fantastic pizza in this small place in the Paqui. Superfresh ingredients and nice crust on the Neapolitan style pizza. Great Service and great atmosphere. They also serve nice bowls of pasta, but for us it’s about the pizza

An extremely friendly staff in a city that is not welcoming to tourists. This pizzeria had an excellent anchovy pizza and a very tasty (and spicy) Diablo pizza. They accomodated my son’s picky food habits and took the Basil off the Margharite pizza to make a plain cheese pizza. Ate outside at the sidewalk seating was not the best choice with road noise and general people watching was not as exciting as in other cities but not the fault of this great restaurant.

It’s more about the atmosphere than the food. The pizzas are not worth 24+ francs full of oil, asked without anchovies and they were added still, not a wood oven, and the people are not Italian (they claim to be).

I recently visited the Espresso Club that left me utterly disappointed and disgusted by the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the staff had a serious attitude problem. Sexist jokes and remarks were thrown around casually, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere.
Our order was a pizza, a glass of wine, and a coke zero, placed at 11:00. However, the mistakes began immediately as they brought a regular cola instead of the requested coke zero. Even worse, our second pizza order, placed at 11:25, never arrived. After numerous requests, we were finally informed at 11:55 that they were closing the veranda, and we were asked to take our pizza to go.
The level of disrespect we encountered was shocking. The staff insulted us and even had the audacity to tell us not to return. The pizza itself was a complete letdown—disgusting, overpriced, and served in an embarrassingly small portion. But what truly amplified the disappointment was the abysmal customer service. The waiter appeared to be intoxicated, emanating a strong smell of alcohol.
I would strongly advise against anyone wasting their time and money at this pizzeria. The overall experience was nothing short of a nightmare. From the blatant sexism to the incompetence in getting our orders right and the shockingly bad customer service, this place has a long way to go in terms of professionalism and basic decency. Save yourself the trouble and find another spot to enjoy a good meal.
