American fare in a busy sports bar with a jukebox, pool tables, live music & a rooftop patio.
Our Story – Eskimo Joe’s
Eskimo Joe’s opened July 21, 1975, serving ice-cold beer, red-hot music, and great-big smiles, both on the proprietors’ faces, and on the front of the 72 T- …

The restaurant and store are very cool. Older buildings have so much more charm than newer establishments. We were seated immediately. It was about 2pm on a Sunday. The food came out fast and hot. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. It was a good time all around. Definitely recommend. However, the parking is awful. They have a lot of parking but I’m pretty sure it was being used by people going to other things/places. We had to park all the way down in a grassy lot. That’s fine for us, having no mobility issues. But it could have caused a problem.

All of the employees were attentive, friendly, and greeted us with genuine smiles. The food was outstanding and served hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable dining experience.
The floppy bacon is possibly my favorite anywhere—the maple flavor and sweetness are exceptional and truly stand out. The buns also elevate the burger, adding great texture and flavor. Overall, an excellent experience, and I look forward to returning.

My parents strongly recommended Eskimo Joe’s. They studied at OSU 35 years ago, and they came here frequently. I like the vibe here, and the food is so excellent. The onion rings are best, and the burger is too. I ordered the cowboy one. The meat is juicy, and the cheese with the onion sauce is extraordinary. You have to come here if you visit Stillwater. Also, in the gift shop, I bought the same t-shirt that my parents have. Love this place!

Have been coming to Eskimo Joe’s for literally decades.
Food is normally decent, nothing extraordinary, just decent. Have had a few times when it was not that good. Guessing it depends on the cook and if they purchased cheap ingredients.
That being said, the cheese fries have always been great. Can make a meal with the cheese fries, ranch dressing to cover them and the pickle spears. Be sure to ask for the pickles!!
Atmosphere is more of a bar with a restaurant in it than a just a restaurant.
College town, so can get rowdy, particularly on game days.
Wait times depend on time of day, what day and if it’s a game day. Can be anywhere from no wait to well over an hour. Can go online to schedule your wait.

What are my favorite places to eat, especially after a football game at the famous and iconic Eskimo Joe’s!
They have so many great foods on their menu items can really fill you up, more than just their desserts, they’re burgers and cheese fries can feel you up as well.
So you’re ever down the Stillwater, during or after the game or just to visit around the campus, including the city town itself.
Come on, buy and eat at Eskimo Joe’s!
It’s really worth it!

Saw a sign on the interstate several months ago and wanted to visit next time through the area, we are about 4.5hrs away. Had the Elm Street Fries as an Appetizer and it was really good with the chicken and the candied pepper bacon. Burgers were also amazing with a generous portion of fries. The side salad is almost the size of a regular salad, so be careful. The atmosphere is that of a college pub eating establishment and service was great. They have an option of ordering a burger and T-shirt coupon for their clothing store however we were not informed that the clothing store closes earlier than the restaurant and we were not able to use the coupon before we left, super bummer.

I visited Eskimo Joe’s for the first time and unfortunately left feeling disappointed. We were seated at a table that hadn’t been cleaned, which wasn’t a great first impression. I ordered a lemonade, but it tasted very watered down. The bacon cheddar cheese fries had good flavor, but they were served lukewarm, so they cooled off quickly and weren’t as enjoyable. The burger was definitely the highlight of the meal. However, overall the experience didn’t live up to the hype, and I don’t see myself returning anytime soon.

We recently stopped here for a late lunch. We had a 10 minute wait before being sat. We were sat in the upstairs in a room that was a bit warm with very little ventilation. The server took 10 minutes before we got any drinks. It was hard to get refills as well.
The food and outside the warm inside we had a great time.

Wait time was nothing crazy, shopped around until our table was called. Good service and even greater food! We really enjoyed the fries the most! I also loved the souvenir cups from getting a soft drink.

We came from Kansas to visit a family member. She recommended we try it. Loved our experience. Great decor, friendly staff, very delicious comfort food, the burger and chicken sandwich, coleslaw, fries and milk shakes were all really tasty. Really great selection of shirts and gifts.
