The food was really delicious, great atmosphere here. Definitely an upscale twist on traditional Mexicn cuisine. I tried their new Barilla Enchiladas, my wife had the traditional cheese Enchiladas with mexican gravy. Dont miss the dessert! Our waiter Arturo was very attentive, kept our drinks and bellies full super friendly folks here, highly recommend!!

We drove in from Dallas Texas for My daughter’s graduation from Southern University. It was 12 of us. I own a restaurant in Dallas so I always look for good food. This food was EXCELLENT! Great service! We had a couple of new items on the menu which were awesome. Green Hatch Chili enchiladas and the honey chipotle salmon. Both delicious and beautifully served. Finished up with the Margarita Pie. Yum! And enjoyed one of those good margs. We highly recommend this place. We come back often.

I ordered the flautas, a mangoneada, and the tableside guacamole—all of which were outstanding. The flautas were perfectly crispy and flavorful, the mangoneada was refreshing and delicious, and the guacamole made fresh right at the table was the perfect touch. Overall, it was a flawless dining experience. I highly recommend Escalante’s, and especially Marvin, for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service. Can’t wait to come back!

I highly recommend the empanadas as appetizer, the sauce that comes with it elevates them to a different level. I had been at this restaurant a few times and the service is always great, if you ever stop here look for David, great guy who make sure you enjoy your time here.
