Ernie’s On The Creek is hands down one of my favorite places in Michigan We celebrated my mom‘s 73rd birthday there and it was an amazing experience hosted by Zack (general mgr) Kelly and Eden. Service was beyond all expectations. From the first encounter with Zack who reached out to me while on vacation. He secured our event and from then on, it was seamless.
On the day of the party Kelly and Eden were beyond amazing! They really went out of their way to make my mom’s birthday celebration amazing and fun; offered to help us set up and decorate, even though they had their hands full. They were so warm, kind, and helpful, which you don’t often find in the service industry these days. As a large party, we ordered from a set menu – chicken and salmon were delicious and perfectly cooked, side dishes and drinks selection were on point. One of the perks of this venue is the lush greenery and creek view so we took the opportunity for a photo shoot in this beautiful background. This place has it all! I’m thrilled to have discovered Ernie’s On The Creek and look forward to coming back whenever I’m in Michigan. Thank you again to Zack, Kelly, and Eden!

Gabby was wonderful! We came for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner and she made our meal so special. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much, Gabby! We will be coming back for sure! We also had the cream cake and it was delicious!!!

I had the chicken souvlaki and my husband had the Florida grouper. Everything was excellent and fresh. They had a great seasonal menu and drink menu.
We took our drinks and went to the patio with a fire pit, listening to the creek and relaxing . Service was excellent highly recommend.

Who knew? Ernie’s on the creek has been open over a year now snuggled next to paint creek river off main in downtown Rochester. First time visit to celebrate wife’s birthday. Outdoor seating is a must, heated and enclosed in inclement weather, as you become mesmerized by paint creek river racing along with a forest canopy in the background.The zaganaki and rather large bowl of lemon rice soup as starters were more than enough for two. Our waitress, Katrina, was gracious and genuinely joyful taking our order. The lemon chicken, lemon potato wedges and vegetable medley paired extremely well, and again, more than enough for two to share. Throw in an autumn negroni cocktail and a lemonade, the food and ambiance of dining there was 67 dollars. Definitely well worth it.

What started an extremely unpleasant & disappointing service w the condescending host (called 30 mins prior to confirm there would be seating & no reservation was needed, gave time frame arrival & was told it was good. Arrived at said time & was told by host that “things change” and that are completely booked for the whole night) BUT after asking for management,
Zack has made me a regular patron of this place! After apologizing & swiftly seating us, we were treated w the upmost best service I’ve ever received in Rochester. Zack went above & beyond. I truly cannot express how truly quaint & polite he was.
The food was PHENOMENAL. We got appetizers – the trio dip(10/10) the octopus (12/10 ) & the flordia grouper & steak chevapi for entrees. Everything was cooked properly. The fish and steak were so tender. They were literally melting in my mouth. We had a side of the lemon potatoes & MY GOD they really made sure every potato was cooked to perfection. we can’t wait to return. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious fresh meal that comes with amazing service. Zack needs a raise! Thank you Zack & Ernie’s for making this a memorable night. My water cup was never even close to empty, can’t wait to come back again.

This was our first time here, we were visiting family in Rochester Hills. What a great choice! The original reservations were outdoors on the creek/deck. It was extremely hot that day, we asked if we could sit indoors, they moved as quickly and we’re happy to accommodate. Priced right and the food was fantastic! If we lived in the area, this would be one of our favorite stops. Would love to sit on the deck when we have cooler weather.

We love Ernie’s! The cocktails are always A+, along with the yummy food. We came in New Year’s Eve for an early dinner and had the pleasure of meeting Andrea, our server. She was very courteous and was just an all around GREAT server.
The salads are clean and fresh and the flaming cheese is always my fav! My son loves the lamb chops which are always cooked perfectly! I highly recommend checking out this cozy but lively restaurant!
