Delicious, cozy spot in Melrose for a nice breakfast or brunch. I got blueberry pancakes and western egg omelette to share and loved both dishes. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, would 100% recommend!

The breakfast is probably the best I ever had . I had the 2 eggs kielbasa with home fries. Home fries were amazing ! Toast was nice and buttery Kielbasa was cooked to perfection and eggs were perfect sunny . Friendliness and Hospitality of the staff were amazing ! . Definitely coming back again with my friends and family .

We love going to Ernie’s! They treat you like guests in their home/kitchen. Their menu is considered a “guide.” They’ll make adjustments however you’d like – if they have the ingredients to do it, they will! And very reasonable prices. FYI – cash only

Sorry for low rating but i drove my family 45 minutes to come here because of all the hype. Turns out they are still closed due to family issues. Which i understand the low rating is because you do not address you are closed on google. Your status currently says open. You should change that to temporarily closed until reopend just incase others like myself come out to find closed doors.

Coming from Asia, I’ve never understood the hype about home fries. I have tried them at other diners and they are usually okay – nothing to really shout about… Until I came to Ernie’s. Are you kidding me with those home fries?? They are out of this world. I helped to finish them off the remaining plates at my table. They were cooked with the right amount salt and other seasoning. The service and people there were so sweet and the atmosphere was just lovely. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!
