The food is really good. Guac is great. I got 3 street tacos and a sope. The sope was huge, wasn’t expecting it to be that big. We also got 2 of their adult drinks and boy oh boy.

I frequent this place because it’s one of the few places close to my house, but I often rate a mexican restaurant based off the food quality and the chips & salsa. I noticed that with Mexican restaurants, when they first open, the salsa is amazing. Fresh, chunky, full of flavor. Over time, they get watered down, blended up, and lack seasonings/cilantro, etc. Almost like they start cutting corners. I dont know what the deal is, but today I ate here and the chips were stale (which wouldn’t be the first time here) and the salsa seemed watered down and barely had any flavor and was just juice. That somewhat bothers me. But I somewhat understand due to inflation, they probably try to save money somehow. But, I also noticed the Pollo Playa at the Ernesto’s on Hwy 54, the chicken is almost red from seasoning and is spicy. The one in Whitesville, today was just flavorless and had no seasoning, just plain chicken. So, I hope this review can offer some constructive criticism so they can make improvements. Other than these issues, the prices are affordable, the staff is always really attentive and friendly, and overall is still a great place to eat in Whitesville.
