I think this was a one of my better experiences. The dishes were nice; however I have to say the sides were better than man part of the entree. We had the brisket and the cider braised chicken. I believe the brisket while flavorful was a bit tough, and the chicken was good, but the flavor was mainly in the skin of the chicken. For what the dishes cost I would just like the main part of them to be the center piece. I will say the ciders were great, it was a great atmosphere, and they have so many reasons to return, so I’ll be back with friends for sure. This place is worth a try …

Tried this spot out after having the pedestrian cider at another local brewery. Did not disappoint! Such a great collection of classic and seasonal flavors of cider. They have 2 pre made flights or you can get small pours to try other combinations for relatively cheap. Our favorites were the blush (cherry), just the Mo (so cool- almost like a combo of cider and white wine with a peachy aftertaste, and the classic pedestrian. They had a bunch of fun holiday flavors as well like the hazelnut which were fun to try but not sure if I could have a full pour of! Nice to sit at the bar and hear from the bartender. The cidery sits in a really cool old brick building and they have a nice outdoor area as well. Definitely stop by!

There is no other place that will make you feel more welcome and at home as Eris. Come here any time of day, and it’s always welcoming, either it’s a delicious brunch with mimosa flights (must try) or a trivia night, or just a casual night- the atmosphere and ciders will never disappoint.

Can’t rave enough about this brewery! The service was top notch, but the food, plenty of it was so delicious! The out door patio was exceptional.. The cauliflower wrap was amazing along with the grilled chicken sandwich!! You won’t be disappointed my friends!!!

Solid first impression. I had the shrimp and grits with chorizo and it was excellent. Enjoyed the Pedestrian Cider they make there. Beautiful patio outside that we enjoyed and highly recommend. Great service and host was also very helpful.

Our fourth visit to ERIS when visiting Chicago. We have always enjoyed dining there, and so does everyone else in Chicago it seems. Quite loud and chaotic, but our server did her job heroically. Upon looking at the menu on our phones, the price of the wine I selected was very reasonable— then upon being served, I discovered why— the pour looked like about two ounces. All around our table of seven, the food was delicious. We’ll be back, but next time, I’m going to order a cider.

Very pleasant. Aye outside and it was nice. There were several children running around, which I don’t care for, but that is ok.
I got the paella and it was very light and nothing to complain about. We started with the happy hour nachos, which were small and not hot, but tasted fine. The cheesecake dessert was nothing to write home about.

Service was good right up to the end when it took a long time to get our dessert.

Staff shortage, especially during holidays, can be challenging to establishments. But 6:30 reservation should not last 2 hours, most of which was spent on waiting for drinks or food. Poor service was such a shame given that quality of food and drinks were quite good. Shrimp and grits and cauliflower wrap were particularly flavorful. It is a great space renovated from many other businesses and churches in the past.

This is one of the best cideries in the area. But if you’re into beer, they make that too! The building is super cool and historic, and parking is easy on Irving Park out front. The food is delicious as well, but I admit I usually only get the ciders. Eris is woman-owned, which I fully support!

We had such a great waiter! He was very kind and courteous and checked on us often. The cauliflower wings are so tasty. The sauce on them was perfect. The interior and the exterior are very nice and clean decorated great. Lots of great beers insiders to choose from. On street parking is available.
