We always try to choose locally owned, mom-and-pop spots whenever we travel, and this little diner became our breakfast stop for the day. The service was friendly and welcoming, and our meals came out quickly. The food was classic diner fare—simple, hearty, and satisfying. Nothing particularly memorable, but it hit the spot and started our day off right.

If you’re anywhere near Cicero, you absolutely have to check out Erika’s Place! This local gem completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, friendly service that made us feel right at home.
The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite tasted homemade, and the portions were generous without sacrificing quality. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and perfect whether you’re stopping in for a casual meal or meeting up with friends and family.
It’s so refreshing to find a place that delivers both amazing food and outstanding service. Erika’s Place has definitely earned a loyal customer in me. Highly recommend — 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good, friendly place for breakfast. Everyone was so kind and the atmosphere was inviting. Street parking, expect to walk a short distance if you’re not lucky to get close.

Fantastic small Town Indiana diner. The hand breaded tenderloin that each of us had was delicious. Breading was seasoned and not too much. The onion rings were also delicious. We were there for midweek lunch and service was still very good. Check this place out.

I really loved the food. Definitely worth the drive. Definitely will have to come back and try more. It was so good reminded me of my mawmaws cooking. Can’t wait to try more.

Great brunch place that’s super family friendly.
They have a great variety of things for the kids to do while you’re waiting – coloring stuff, books, and toys.
All of the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We had a couple of big fried things covered in gravy, along with some cheesy grits, which hit the spot.

My family loves to support locally owned restaurants. We’ve been here a few times. We have ordered a few items such as the Hash brown, biscuits & gravy, chicken & waffles to name a few.
The customer service is great. Friendly staff. The dining is comfortable. We enjoy come back.

Been going here for 10+ years , even once we moved 45 miles away it’s always worth the trip. Good food and great people, we will continue to visit every chance we get. Not many restaurants like this anymore.

“The food and service here are excellent! This fantastic small town Indiana diner delivers on classic dishes. The hand breaded tenderloin we had was delicious (the seasoning on the breading was perfect!). Don’t miss the delicious onion rings either. Our service was still very good, even during the slower midweek lunch hour. Check this place out!”

Everything was great. The Beef & Noodles were yummy. I’ll have to come back to try other stuff. I would have given it a 5 star but parking is a slight problem. Only other issue was on waitress . So I don’t blame the business . She was talking about taking medicines and I don’t know what she had but she kept putting her finger in her mouth and when the other waitress brought us the bill I knew the pen came from her area. So I hope she gets better.
