We had a great meal at Eric Ericsson’s Fish Co. in Ventura. We visited during lunchtime on a beautiful, sunny October day, and the view overlooking the Ventura Pier was simply stunning – a perfect backdrop for a great meal.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their service was attentive without being intrusive.
But the real star of the show is the seafood. It was outstanding! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. If you’re looking for great seafood in Ventura, this is a must-try.
They offer a good selection of locally brewed beers, which paired perfectly with the meal and the seaside atmosphere. That’s definitely a “must try” for any beer lover.

The six dollar ice cream on the menu is actually just a ice cream sandwich on a plastic bag that you could get at a gas station, expected it on a plate at least.
The ceviche is average. Not even a fresh sauce or anything to have it on top of average fried chips. It’s also fish not shrimp, that might confuse some people expect shrimp in a ceviche but this is just fish.

It was great. We just ordered the fryer boat appetizer with the jalapeno batter and it was outstanding. Served hot the calamari was tender (not chewy) the shrimp were cooked perfectly and the cod were nice thick cuts and the batter on it all didn’t over power anything just gave a nice flavor and spice. Can not recommend it enough.and the fries, crisp and tasty. The staff were so nice and atmosphere was great. The view is wonderfully, we sat on the inside. The tarter and cocktail sause we wanted l buckets to take home yumm. We can only imagine that if a appetizers was this good we know the rest is amazing.

Perfect! The location is great. Hang out at the beach all day then grab some food and drinks. The poke bowls are incredible. The fish and chips are tasty. The bar is great as well. They have an excellent selection and the bartender is super fun and sassy. Highly recommend!!

Got the fish and chips. Cod and fries were really good. Didn’t expect the coleslaw and tartar sauce to ve so good tho. Unfortunately we couldn’t take out liquor upstairs due to licenses being different. Excellent customer service. Cool vibes and amazing views

Made it just in time for the happy hour special! Grilled red snapper tacos were absolutely amazing. Pared well with the Made West brew from upstairs.
