The restaurant has some amazing views of the lake. We sat next to the window and had the most amazing views of the winter snow covered lake and the shoreline.
The food was all made in-house and the freshness made it taste even better.
We had a new server who was learning the menu, but was kind, responsive and welcoming.
We will definitely come back again.

Revising my review of this place after the second visit.

Exceptional Pizza during first visit… went back the second day, ordered Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich which was cold in the inside (like come out of refrigerator). Highlighted to a server. 10-min later we followed up and he informed us that he has brought this to the attention of our other server who is busy (entire restaurant was approx. 20% full and 80% vacant).

“Our” server informed us it was not “her fault”; she served what was given to her from the kitchen. She doesn’t work in the kitchen 🙂

We requested speaking to the chef.

Chef came along and suggested we should stop complaining and that she can make a new one.

Hmmmm…

We requested for the Manager and were told that “she was the manager”.

At this point it was time for us to leave and step out of this experience so requested for the bill.

We were charged for the dish that was returned. We requested it be removed, and was. Net net, 20-minutes of tasteless experience. Much to the contrast of previous evening when the restaurant almost 100% packed and yet we experienced much better service.

I would still vote that this place serves good food (generally). Worth a visit – just go when they are busy and probably have more professional staff in attendance.

Worst ever veggie pizza I have ever had. Veggies were uncooked as if they were added after the pizza was baked. the tomato slices were so thick that a a pizza slice couldn’t hold its weight. Plus the tomato water was oozing out on the pizza . It was a mess. Everything was falling apart. The pizza was tasteless. A cherry on top is that there was spider crawling all across and we had to ask the server take it off.

Ere’s Pizza in Lake Placid was a pleasant surprise with its warm atmosphere and scenic view overlooking Mirror Lake. We ordered a variety of items—Margherita and Meat Lovers pizzas, veal parm, calamari, and garlic bread. The garlic bread had a nice crunch and flavor, and the veal parm stood out as one of the best we’ve had. The Margherita pizza was also a hit—fresh and flavorful.

Service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions, even offering great recommendations with a smile. If you get the chance, definitely ask to sit by the window—the view of the lake adds something extra special to the meal.

Overall, it’s a solid spot for good Italian fare with a view worth savoring. We’d definitely come back.

Popped in for a slice before heading back on the road. It was a delicious NY style pepperoni slice. Service was great. Nice little spot by the lake. Worth a stop.

The pizza we ordered was amazing. I was happily surprised. It was so nice sitting I. The back looking out at the frozen lake and watching the dog sleds go by. Our waitress Camilla was lovely and very attentive.

I got a gluten free pizza to go! It was ready quickly and it was delicious. The crust was very crispy and they put a lot of toppings. Adding to my list of favorite Lake Placid dining spots! On top of that, I ate it sitting by the lake in the spot right next door 🙂

Got the Margherita pizza… expensive and lacking in flavor. It’s not that it was awful. It just felt like empty calories. Weak sauce. Meh cheese. Flavorless crust.

This place is located in one of the most beautiful spots on Mirror Lake. It is a small place, with some limited space inside and some space in the corridors. Ordered Egg plant parmasean, Margherita Pizza, and Vegge pizza. The food was really good and tasty. Overall, I can not give a 5 star for a specific reason. And it is the same reason I gave 3 stars for service. I am not sure what category I need to add this, but this is the fact. Once we placed the order, they came and distributed the plastic plates. The first plate I got had wet pizza crumbs, totally ot clean, and ths second one I got, it seemed like broken at the center. All plates were plastic and looked old. Full of scratches and o did not feel like putting good on top of that and eating. This restaurant is in a prime location, and they should have decent plates.
Initially, when we went in, I thought we would get a lake side easting outside, but unfortunately, there is no opening at the back facing the lake. So, no lake front lunch or dining. So don’t think just because on the lake you will get a lake view. As we asked outside seating, we did not know it would not face the lake. Anyhow, the table we took, I found that there was a hornet’s nest, next to it.
The servers were all good, courteous, and nice mannered. As it is on the main street, getting a parking spot is out of question. As our hotel was nearby, we had a 10 minute walk to this place and was convenient.

There is a menu at the top of the stairs next to a lookout point, climb down the stairs and take the door on the left to enter the restaurant.

Had the best lobster ravioli dinner here. Every single bite was delicious. I also had bread and butter and Shirley Temple from the Saranac brewed brand. My husband had the chicken Marsala and said his dish was also delicious. Definitely come here for dinner.

There is only one all gender washroom for customers so you might have to wait a bit to use it.
