I have been a loyal customer for over 6 yrs n I will never go back again. The staff is soooo slow no matter in person or you order online. If in person you’re going to wait for over 10 mins just to take order when no one is there n I think they hate their job cuz they are not very friendly anymore
Update 1/26/26 really missed the best soup in town so I decided to give them another try n they made a complete turn around, the service is way better n I will be going back. Thank you for the improvement

Ordered a Spartan as I have done every time I eat there for like 10 years. Peppadew mustard was delicious. Unsure if they put the wrong sauce or it changed, but my sandwich tastes like egg yolk, onion and tuna. None of those things are in the sandwich, at least not that I can tell, nor are they supposed to be. Chicken meat also either changed or incorrectly put on as it’s always been deli style meat and was chunks. There was maybe 2 tablespoons worth on my 7″ sandwich. Strongly doubt we’ll be going back. Was one is my favorite restaurants in Willmar. 🙁

This was our first time at the restaurant. The restaurant is connected with Taco John. You can enter at either entrance to the restaurant. Seating is very limited and close together. The restaurant is meant for takeout. Restaurants similar to this, we are able see our sandwich being made. That is not the case here. This restaurant has the sandwich making counter off to the side. The food was mediocre at best. The sandwiches were fine, except they put mayonnaise on everything. The soups seemed water down. The soup seemed to be more broth than ingredients. We would not recommend this restaurant.

Came in for soup and noticed they have a gluten free bun, asked if it has dairy and was told (with no one in line behind me!) she doesn’t have the time to check and see. With only a few options in town would have been nice to have another place my son could eat at!

I can’t believe I’ve lived in Willmar for a year and I’m just now discovering how awesome this place is. I’m obsessed with the Cheddar Broccoli soup and the sandwiches are amazing. The staff that was working today was also super cool! There was only one loaf of wheat bread available, but they made an exception to get me what I wanted. Incredible!!

I called and placed a delivery order today. I spoke with someone. They did not get my order right. I received a half apollo so thin that a poptart had more gurth than. I am super hungry so i ate it but geesh this was the most expensive poptart i have ever purchased. It did however give the girls in the office and I a good laugh. I mean this sandwich was so thin a toddler would still be hungry afterwards. lol I’ve legit had pb & J sandwichs bigger than this lol

The food is great. Problem is getting it delivered. No one is scheduled anymore to deliver. I have called 4 times now where no one is there to deliver. Buying food is becoming more and more difficult here.
