We’ve eaten here twice in the last 3 weeks. Both times the food was tasty. My favorite dish is the vegetarian stuffed pepper while my husband prefers the strip steak. The first time we went the service was just so so. The second time, however, the service was to notch. When we left we spent some time in the lobby enjoying the piano playing.

First, the service: excellent, young people who were polite, prompt, helpful. Second, the food: expensive and insultingly bad. Tacos with ingredients that clearly came from jars or cans (salsa, beans), hideously salty. Thankfully we only visited 1 evening for dinner with a guest. Located in a Hilton resort, maybe they think this is what they can get away with. Avoid even if you’re staying here…

Did not realize this restaurant is in a hotel, but valet parking is free and the setting is spectacular in the evening. Had a wonderful server, amazing ceviche, and delicious marinated pork tacos.

This is great experience! We came on a weekend night and returned on Monday night both were sensational. The service helpful and quick. Sam the bartender was very attentive to our needs and was quick to get drinks in the middle of dinner rush. There should be no bad reviews to this restaurant. Check it out it is worth it. I had 3 different appetizers and 3 entrees and 2 desserts. All great.

Impressive little restaurant at the resort. Service was great – Isa took care of us! The food takes a little bit of time, so I recommend getting a starter or drinks. Otherwise, food and drink was excellent – definitely recommend!!

Went for my birthday during the off season at the tail end of an epic family road trip. Dined here many years ago and it was great…this time was the opposite. Hour plus wait for dinner, cold food, undercooked meats, weird desserts, etc etc resulted in a full comp of our meal with family and friends that met us there. Hopefully it was a one off and returns to the fond memories we had but given our experience we will not be returning.

Very poor value for your money. The atmosphere is beautiful with a great outlook to the gorgeous grounds. Staff service is very friendly and attentive. But the good things stop there. We ordered loaded nachos which was good, but then the chicken taco mains had the exact same marinated chicken as the starter (surely they would design a menu that prevents repeated flavors? Or the servers should have warned us that we would be eating the same meal twice? The salad with shrimp was ok, dressing was very sweet and overall $12 extra for 4 shrimp obviously from a frozen pack is rich. The kids meal burger was severely burnt! The buns clearly were scorched on the inside. We sent it back and replaced with chicken tenders that were also over cooked (is the kids meal chef a bit flame happy?). Hungry kid and unsatisfying meal with a $100 bill for 2 people being fed. Should have had only drinks there and hopped across the street to El Charro

Came here just for coffees and dessert. It was night out and they had the heaters on outside with strings of lights hanging everywhere. Server was nice and desserts were delectable. They do have indoor dining available if you prefer. I would recommend to give this place a try.

While staying at the resort we had dinner here two nights in a row. Both nights our food was delicious and the service was great! The first night I had one of their summer salads with goat cheese and strawberries, and the second night I had the New York Steak cooked medium rare – they were delicious. We ordered the Gold Bar for dessert both nights – chocolate, peanut butter, gold leaf… so delicious. The restaurant overlooks the pool, grounds, and incredible mountains. Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location.

I cannot say enough great things about Epazote. The service was wonderful. Prompt, friendly and attentive. The food was even better. After two nights, we had the short rib, ceveiche tower, mussels, shishito peppers, chicken and waffle, ribs, lemon pepper mac and cheese. It was all absolutely delicious. This is the best restaurant in Tucson in my opinion. Highly recommend!
