Dinner was fantastic! I had scallop special which was incredible (5 scallops!!) and my friend had the lobster burger (forgot to get pic). We both loved our meals. Got this delicious pistachio ice cream on chocolate cake w/ meringue (can’t remember name, but see pic!). Everything was so well done and delicious. Service was great. Atmosphere was perfect on a Wednesday evening .

Unbelievably delicious and great service by Orion. A lovely gentleman, who put a cheese platter together for my husband. Everything was delicious: highly recommend pork belly & scallop salad. Beet salad and duck !

Incredible dining experience! The wait staff made our night perfect. They checked on us the right amount of times (not too much) and when serving our dinner, it was presented to us in a vey high-end dining manner. The steak frites was cooked to perfection (highly recommend upgrading to the hand cut duck fat fries). The lobster burger was also exceptional. We will be back!

Really good; I definitely plan on coming back.
Overall a nice place without feeling too fancy. Great food, I highly recommend the duck, it was perfect. Pretty good selection of whiskey behind the bar, including a few Japanese ones which can be hard to come by.
A bit on the expensive side, but I give it an easy recommendation.

Will not return: they bait-and-switch, and dirty wine glasses.
… continue our wine bar hopping.
I liked their exposed brick wall, so put this one on hit list.
Their Happy hour is 5-6 but oyster runs out by 5:30.
Friday, it was empty when we arrived. A short man with eye glasses in the front asked if we’ve a reservation. We didn’t. We were seated immediately.
I like curved forks.
Their reds are good but the Riedel glasses could use some polish, especially the rim – I’ve seen many bars use towel to polish their glasses.
The tuna poke is wonderful – love the celery.

5 Stars all the way around. Our waitress was very attentive. Made sure we had everything we needed but was also patient when we were deciding which wine to choose. Quiet upscale ambiance. Everything we ordered from the wine to the steak was perfect! My favorite “trick” was that our party of 6’s meals were all placed on the table at the same time by 6 different servers. Way to make a group feel special.

If I am paying $100 for a meal, I have very high expectations. Eolus far surpassed every expectation. The crispy brussel sprouts were one of the most exquisite things I’ve tasted. The butternut squash was a mix of very unique and delicious ingredients. The service was the best I’ve ever experienced. O’Ryan treated us like royalty, always within reach if we needed assistance but never interrupting our conversation. There are many pricy restaurants in Durango, and this was the first one that I feel deserved every cent. My only regret is that we didn’t order dessert!

Eolus is a foodie’s dream in Durango! The food was so delicious that we took our time eating each bite. They are only open Mon-Fri and we hadn’t made a reservation this time (recommended to do so). Lucky for us, we waited all of 2 minutes to be seated.
The cocktails were interesting and delicious. The wine offerings by the glass were great. Our sushi appetizer special was incredible, especially for landlocked Colorado.
The server was attentive and when I didn’t find exactly what I wanted, he gave me an off-menu choice. While their lobster was amazing, my husband’s venison won the night.
We shared a chocolate pate choux filled with pistachio cream that was delightedly gluten free.
Wonderful experience and worth every pretty penny! We cannot wait until our next special celebration to enjoy another decadent meal there.

I would rate this as a 5 star restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing the pairing of flavors and plating was phenomenal. The service was top notch, the servers all worked in sync to make sure our drinks were full and the meals arrived at the same time; not just us but all the other patrons. There was a table of 4 and 4 servers lined up and brought the customers their food at the same time. I enjoyed the lamb and my wife had the chimechurrie hanger steak. The drinks were amazing as well. I enjoyed the “life’s a beach” beverage, and martini with blue cheese olives. This restaurant was so good the only feedback I can give on a change would be to the olive oil, the bread is fantastic and arrives with olive oil. Just plain olive oil I would like olive oil with some balsamic and cracked pepper or chilie olive oil. That would put them over the top.
