Enzo’s 5 stars. Upon entering the restaurant with my family, we received a warm welcome from Anthony and the staff. The goal for my family and I was old school italian food, like grandma from Calabria use to make. Food made with love, can’t find that anymore, UNTIL NOW. Enzo’s did not disappoint. All around experience was totally positive, food was delicious, didn’t skimp on portion size, service fantastic, great prices, we left happy and full. Mission accomplished. Thank you Enzo’s ! Probably won’t go back. The service was sooooo slow. We were seated right away, but it took like 30 mins for bread and to order. Our food came out like an hr later. The poor couple next to me ordered an 1hr 45 mins before us and never got their food they went across the street to smashburger. The couple that came after us got their food and drinks and BREAD before we did. Once the food came, the food was a letdown. My steak had NO seasoning. It was dead flesh. I asked for well. I got medium. So I came home and seasoned and cooked it again. The bathrooms are clean, but the womans bathroom door didn’t lock, so anyone could have come in. The soap dispenser was broken also. The atmosphere was extremely loud. I didn’t mind too much because it’s a NY Italian restaurant. I actually enjoyed that part the most. This place has potential, but then again, it’s been around for a while, I think we passed the potential mark.

Currently sitting with a full belly at Enzo’s at a lovely table on the street, content but looking forward to my tiramisu and espresso. This place is absolutely incredible, and I just finished one of the best meals of my life, bar none. The Clams Posillipo were life-changing, and the massive NY Strip may be the best I’ve had, seriously. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The decor is warm and friendly with romantic charm, but also well lit and lively.
A great place to start is with the fried Calamari, tender and flavorful served with a tangy marinara for dipping. The coating is crisp, the calamari tender, the tentacles, ample. My wife had the Zuppa Fantasia last time and loved it. I also tried some and it was a delicious blend of savory broth, tortellini done to al dente perfection, with spinach and egg drop. The claims oreganata were perfect with sauce just begging to be sopped up with some of the ample bread provided.
As to mains, you can’t go wrong with anything you order. I especially recommend the Chicken Contadina served on a platter that will leave anyone saying ‘mama mia!’ Enzo’s is definitely a place to bring your appetite. The Chincken Francese is superb, really one of the best I’ve ever had with a tangy butter, lemon and wine sauce. One of my own personal favorites is the Chicken Vesuvio. Chicken breast covered by eggplant and mozzarella smothered in a savory marsala gravy, all of the above sliced thin, the chicken fork tender. The above accompanied by a platter of sliced potatoes and either green beans or the broccoli rabe make for an unforgettable dining experience.
Enzo’s is how you’d eat if your Italian Grandmother went to culinary school – the food is fresh, expertly crafted, served in very generous portions and with the love and care of the chef and staff. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves and can appreciate fine Italian food served with the care and love given to family. Buon Appetito!

Our visit at Enzo’s was very pleasant. The restaurant’s soft music and lighting gave it a romantic ambience. Our server Joseph helped us with his expert knowledge of the menu, he made several suggestions. I ordered the rack of lamb on a bed of risotto with mushrooms. My partner ordered the grouper over linguine. We topped off our dinner with the home made tiramisu and espresso. The food was delicious and the service was AMAZING. We will be back and will definitely recommend your restaurant.
