We went here based on a Reddit posting and their other ratings/reviews because peeps were saying how this satisfied their NY sandwich craving. If Google allowed for half ratings, this place would receive a 3.5 stars. However, it’s a solid 3.
There’s no room to order a sandwich from scratch, but just to modify one of their sandwiches. Food ordering apps do not show/offer all of their sandwiches. Their main menu does not show all their offerings either, just pieces of paper with them. The space was clearly originally an ante room or foyer of the apartment building the eatery resides in. Does not come off as an eating place. There are only a few designated parking spots for them, so I’m curious to see if people ever get tickets or towed if they have to park elsewhere.
The food itself tasted good. So if you’re looking for a good chicken cutlet sandwich that you also cannot CALL in (there’s no number to be found), then this is the place for you. Or an Italian combo hero (not sure what they call it, but LI NY, it’s a hero).

I never DoorDash food but my car has been in the shop. Got Enzo’s because I’ve been wanting to try it. This place is totally slept on and was delicious. Huge sandwich so totally worth your money. They don’t skimp on the meat or goodie. Totally coming back. I got the Rico. It was delicious!!! Gained a new customer.

Great quality Northern style deli down here in the South! The subs are HUGE! With fresh bread and tons of sub options. The Tina sub is a great vegetarian sub option that leaves you super filled! They are constructing a store front next door too, that can’t come soon enough!

First try today a little disappointing. This is basically a to go place with no tables inside but 2 or 3 outside which were unused. I definitely didn’t expect. There is a separate room next door which opens at 6? with wine etc. We ordered the Tina which was ok and the chicken with vodka sauce sub which was pretty good but just a piece of chicken with cheese and sauce on it. A complaint I have (which to go people don’t care about) is they have no cups or ice for your drink. Mine was mildly cool and needed ice as it warmed up quickly. Other sub pictures looked pretty good but the cashier said the chicken I had was the most ordered sub. If they change a little, I will be back.

Great local Italian shop. The sandwiches are delicious! They are extending their building. So, hopefully in a couple of months that will be ready. Excited to see their wine collection when it opens. But in the mean time. If you haven’t been go grab a sandwich, chips, something to drink or some other Italian goodies!

Visited during the lunch hour for a superb Artichoke Caprese! I added hot peppers for heat, definitely was a great add to the overall flavor! I was surprised at the size, I honestly could’ve saved half for dinner. I’ll definitely be back!

Apologies for such a mediocre photo – I started eating and forgot to get a decent pre-bite photo. What you see here is a Meatball Parm Sandwich on which I added tomatoes, extra pickles and hot peppers. I am super picky about meatball subs. This meatball sub ranks as one of the best I’ve had. I’ve had a lot. As good a meatball as the Meatball Shop used to have in Manhattan. The handmade meatballs had the perfect consistency; firm enough to hold together but tender enough to marry perfectly with the sauce & melted parm. Superb. The added hot peppers give a soft touch of semi-sweet and slightly tart heat. Extra pickles are just my thing for a meatball sub, yielding a mild vinegar undertone, and nice cold textural counterpoint to an otherwise soft mouthful. The sauce, oh the sauce, was devine. Right out of the pot on the stove in Goodfella’s. Perfect marinara for the purpose at hand, in my opinion. The roll, as I was told by Jack, the manager, is imported from NYC, and it was perfection. But in toasting the sandwich people can screw up even a great NY sub roll. But not here, the bun was PERFECTLY toasted, just enough to give an audibly perfect crunch to its delicious crust, but not enough to stiffen the entire loaf; spot-on toasting, Enzo’s, spot-on.
These big hearty subs are tightly wrapped in good old North End white butcher paper. No skimpy subs here. Enzo’s is like a Italian sub delicatessen with REAL Italian meats, cheeses, sauces, and more, for sale. I could have bought TONS of items right off the shelves. Over time, I’ll do just that. I would only recommend that all of their items be labeled a little better as to what they are selling, and how much they cost. An amazing container of marinated mozzarella balls was sans label and I had to ask what it was. BUT nonetheless, high marks for their visual selection of offerings. The cafe tables and chairs outside are very pleasant to sit in. Nicely shaded, cleanly bussed, and I expect over time they’ll dress the area up even a little more. I do think plastic cutlery should be visually available inside for those who ask. (I didn’t ask}. Note that they do not serve tap water, but have a fridge with drinks and hi-end bottled seltzer water. It’s a good idea to study the menu a bit before going – there wasn’t an absence of recommendations at to their house specialties when ordering. I’m from Boston, so I’m used to just getting down to business at the front counter, knowing that staff tends to warm up once you’ve order, and here it was the same. We were well taken care of. That said, this location isn’t in Boston or NYC, and a little more front-end guidance for new customers might be serve them well.
At first, I gave the meatball an 8.2+ on the scale of meatball sandwiches I’ve eaten – North or South. But as I am still thinking about that great sandwich two hours later, I’m now upgrading to an 8.9+, for memorability. It was perfectly executed and possibly ranks at the very top for me. It’s the real deal on an awesome bun. I might as well have been eating a sandwich on Prince St in the North End of Boston.
Lastly, a huge shout out to Jack, the manager, who made our sandwich, spoke with us, tolerated my questions, and really listened and remembered our names. He was naturally friendly and sincere. I’ve got to give Enzo’s 5 full–on stars. Oh, I’ll be back!

These people are so unhelpful. Walked in to get something that’s normally in the frozen prepared section. They didn’t have it, no clue when they would make it, can’t preorder it to be made. Zero answers and I was completely ignored when I came in. Their prepared food is great. But their service sucks. Why couldn’t an order be taken for it to be made?!?
