I wasn’t gon’ say much more… but now y’all done hit a nerve.
How y’all gonna try to overcharge my husband like we ain’t got sense, math skills, and receipts ready?!
He calmly checked y’all and I peeped the energy switch. Don’t do that. Just because we speak with love and carry ourselves with peace don’t mean we don’t know what the total is supposed to be.
We not new to this. We seasoned.

And STILL no napkins.
No sauce.
No “thank you.”
Just vibes dipped in attitude and a side of ego.
You overcharge, under-serve, and then get confused when people stop coming back.
Let’s be real — we ain’t begging for nothing but basic respect. I know y’all got regulars, but don’t forget, your customers are your paycheck. And if you ain’t checking your customer service, you might need to check that grease temperature too.

We knew what we ordered.
We knew what it cost.
We knew y’all was tryna play us slick.

But now you know: we educated, we observant, and we not the ones.
Ain’t no way you serving soul food with no soul in sight. HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO BE CALLED !!

So, in defense of the restaurant it’s fair to say I am a tough customer. I hate eating out because in my experience you never can tell what the hell you’re gonna get from these restaurants on any given day. But last night I was called in to cover an emergency shift at work and couldn’t stay home for dinner. So on my way in, I stopped at this place and just hoped for the best. Well, NOPE! NEVER AGAIN! These people appear to have a contemptuous attitude towards their customers. And the food is not seasoned. I picked up a plate for myself and my coworker. I specifically asked the guy for ketchup, mustard and hot sauce because we had chicken and fish and fries. The gentleman said “yeah ok”. A few minutes later he comes back and hands me my bag out of the window (drive thru), and I drove on to work. Wouldn’t ya know, we open the bag at work, and there’s no ketchup, mustard or hot sauce. No napkins or straws. No plastic ware (forks etc) either. Nothing. And the food wasn’t seasoned. So… Yeah it pretty much went in the trash. I tried to call this business to alert them of this very poor experience that I had from them last night, but they don’t answer the phone either. I’ll never be back.

Very disappointed with my order…this is the second time in a row it was not correct, not to mention that they short change me on my order where a 3 PC fish plate was only 2 pieces cause they took one piece and broke in half make it like 3!!!!! Very wrong of them!!!
It really wasn’t worth the trip.. they have loss my business.

This is one of those businesses that has been in a community for so long that they feel like they no longer have to try any more. The service has been slow and unfriendly the last couple of times I went there. If you ask for condiments and napkins make sure to check your bag before you leave because they have no problem lying and saying that they put them in your bag already.
