My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch. The albondigas soup was authentically delicious. My carnitas were a little different but still tasty. Our waitress Sandy was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be coming back next year for our Super Legends Cruise.

One of my favorite restaurants in LA county for Mexican food. Every dish I had is always tasty and enough to save for later meal.

A Long Beach classic. In a world where $8 street tacos are deemed “authentic” by some white dude in a trucker hat, Enrique’s is just over here making massive portions of comfort food. I love their carne asada plate, especially when Enrique is there. Their Carne En Su Jugo is a go-to as well. There is a huge pork leg that isn’t on the menu that is pretty stupid-good, too. Oh yeah! The steak & shrimp skewers, too.

It’s been in business for a long time and still has big lines of you catch it at a busy time, so check the wait here on google first.

Oh yeah – it’s family-owned, too – and they’re just a wonderful family. Seeing exactly who your hard-earned money goes to, especially when they’re good folks, is a huge plus in my book.

Just go. Enrique’s is awesome.

Been eating here for at least 20 years and it’s My favorite Mexican restaurant in the Long Beach/ north OC area. And I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants. Everything here tastes so much fresher and more authentic than other places that are more expensive. I’m picky about salsa and their table salsa is the best I’ve ever had. Guacamole is really good too. I’ve Never had a bad or average meal there.

I picked this place since we would be in Long Beach and I just assumed it was a little hole in the wall. Boy was I wrong….

Started with the chips and salsa and was impressed by the flavor. Hubby passed since it was loaded with cilantro but I devoured the entire bowl by myself! He asked for spicy salsa and was given a bowl of habanero salsa. Usually when you get something like this it’s just FIRE hot but this had great flavor. IF you like heat, ask for it!

I initially wanted tacos, beans and rice but I was talked into the Chile Rojo plate. I like a good chile Colorado. The was delicious and I am pretty picky when if comes to the red sauce. The meat was a little dry and I would have liked a little more sauce on the plate but it definitely would be a go to on my next order. The plate came out so hot the red sauce was bubbling like lava!

Hubby got the tres taco platter and it was legit! The potato taco was the bomb! SO much food we could not finish our plates!

Great restaurant. I was bummed because I wanted a margarita on the rocks but they only carried slushy ones. They have beer, too, but I wasn’t in the mood for that.

It’s close to CSULB and the VA hospital. Definitely glad we tried it.

This is a cute little restaurant with some great Mexican comfort food. The portion sizes are quite large and we ended up only eating half of our plates (that’s okay because we had the other half for dinner). Everyone loved their food. The parking can get competitive but it is worth it.

The food was really good quality but the restaurant was a tad bit musky smelling. I avoided the restroom area because you had a pungent smell. If you go to this restaurant just get seated in the front of the restaurant by the doors and I’m not in the back. The food was very flavorful with a authentic twist.

This place is a hidden gem ! They greeted us as they seated us in a booth w/a beautiful table ! They took our drink order & gave us Chips with their homemade Salsa (really good)! By far the best Mexican food ! The prices are reasonable ! We ordered burritos , one with Chicken w/Red chili sauce w/lettuce , cheese & Guacamole ($1.50) moreone with Chili Verde Carnitas w/Lettuce, cheese & Guacamole ($1.50) more, but worth it ! Both burritos were huge filled with lots of meat ! With refried beans & rice ! Both were very delicious ! We took more than half of both burritos !

My intake of fried food decreases so much every year. The chips taste alright and the salsa is tasty. I have to save half the meal for lunch the following day because I get full half way through the meal. There is a decent amount of seating. The customer service is good (in my experience) and the prices are okay. For as much as I’ve come to experience of the eatery, I think it’s a decent eatery providing home-cooked-vibes.

Always outstanding food! This is their rack of lamb. Wonderfully seasoned and grilled. Thier blackened salmon and pork shank are also best choices.
