Truly enjoyable meal in a great neighborhood restaurant. Everything was delicious and the service excellent. We enjoyed a lovely cauliflower appetizer, a beautiful, simple fresh salad. Three of our party enjoyed the rock fish. The 4th had an amazing sea food stew with spaghetti. Clearly a favorite of the locals. You won’t be disappointed. (Best to make a reservation.) A little noisy…..

We stopped here after going to the Richmond Marathon expo at the Speedway. We had a Caesar salad, pesto pasta, and a duck pasta (special). The bread served before the meal was great and the rest of the food was excellent. We didn’t have a reservation and were able to sneak in quickly, but it was fully booked for a Friday night. Would recommend!

Everything about this place is perfect. My new all time favorite tortellinis. Our waitress Ali was super friendly and had great recommendations. I’m going to be a new regular here.

It is the first restaurant we went to when we moved to Richmond in 2013. It was great then and still serves great food 12 years later.
My wife and I always go early and sit at the bar — excellent home cooked Italian fare with wine recommendations that are always right on the money.
One of our absolute “go to” spots in Richmond.

Even thou this doesn’t look like much from the sign or outside it was great place to eat. The bread was fresh and good dipping it in olive oil. The fried calamari was tasty. I had halibut special with pesto pasta . It was very good. The wine selection was very good. For dessert we had canolli and lemon cake they were top notch.

If you like authentic Italian cuisine, visit this hidden gem today! Enoteca Sogno is cozy and tastefully decorated without trying too hard. It’s a place to focus on good service, good wine, and good food. The wine was fabulous! I wanted something soft but savory, and our waitres’s recommendation was perfect.

Delightful dinner with friends on an early Saturday evening. They were able to easily and comfortably accommodate six of us without a reservation. We really enjoyed the complimentary bread and olive oil before getting our main meals. Service was fantastic! I especially loved the bresaola arugula plate with the GD Vajra Nebbiolo. Perfect pairing!
Enoteca Songo is unassuming from the outside but has a warm, inviting feel inside. Great Bellevue neighborhood spot!

Went with friends and had a lovely time! Definitely a hole in the wall little Italian spot, but excellent service, food, and wine. We started with a bottle of wine recommended to us by our server; followed by the bread (fresh, warm, delicious), the arugula salad (could’ve had more cheese, but the lemon vinegarette dressing was so good), calamari (excellent marinara), and the brussel sprouts. For dinner we had the Cornish hen dinner special (very rich. Super juicy and tender, and the skin was to die for), the pesto gnocchi, and the shrimp scampi. They warned us that the hen special would take awhile to cook, but between the wine and the cozy ambience, we didn’t even notice the time. Everything was amazing, and the portions weren’t huge, so we didn’t have any leftovers and didn’t leave feeling overstuffed. We even had room for dessert (the pistachio ricotta cake and the lemon mascarpone cake) paired with limoncello. Between the vibe, food, and staff, we had a wonderful time!

I have been coming to this restaurant for about 3-4 years – it is my favorite restaurant in Richmond. I tried the octopus when I came here for the very first time and it is one of their delicacies. Evan and Piper are the best and provide the best customer service. 🙂

Excellent place to have traditional Italian food. It can get cramped in the evening when it gets busy but service was fine and so was the food.
