What an amazing experience! The food is absolutely phenomenal. So many creative flavors and everything was so good. We had the short rib bao buns, wings, fried rice, broccoli and little tokyo roll and all of it was delicious. Just the right amount of spice and so yummy. We also enjoyed a few of the amazing cocktails which were awesome. The service was outstanding and we also had a chance to speak with the owner and chef who were both so lovely and welcoming. We will absolutely be back and telling everyone about this wonderful experience.

After seeing a comedy show at St. Andrew’s Hall, my husband and I were in the mood for drinks and dessert. While trying to find a wine bar we had been to previously, we stumbled across Enomah. We decided to give it a try and I am SO glad we did! The interior is a perfect blend of cozy lighting and sophisticated decor, with plenty of seats at the bar. My husband opted for a cocktail (the Time Traveler) while I went with a glass of red (Hahn), both of which hit the spot.

But what really deserves to be noted was the butter cake, which I have never tried before and which was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Airer than a pound cake, the butter cake was like a cinnamon roll without the cinnamon or the icing, and was so good I almost ordered another one.

We will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in Detroit!

I’m literally giving my review after eating and before getting the check. This very moment and day is my wife and I 5 year anniversary. We are elated to say coming to Enomah was the right choice. Our waiter and waitress was pleasant. What stood out to us though was the waiter Caden, he was hospitable, pleasant, respectful and helpful. Second, of course the food was amazing. Me and my beautiful wife shared a bottle of Moscato, small plate Short rib Bao Bun, the Enomah roll and the Wagyu Denver. Lastly, we shared an amazing Warm butter cake. The food amazing and most of all seasoned. The music was a bonus, it was smooth . I recommend people to come on a night out and enjoy yourself like we did. Thanks for an memorable night Enomah Elevated Dining. To the people that will read this, sorry we were hungry so we forgot to take pictures of the short rib Bao Bun and the Wagyu Denver lol.

Walked in on a Saturday night and was shocked to see the place at about 10% capacity. But start to finish, enjoyed our time here. Food was very tasty and good portions. I we were taken care of by Deon and Kayden (spelling may be off) and they checked in on us and treated us with good service. Good music playing over speakers.
I LOVE the decor! Very beautiful space. Could go for just a little bit more light to read the menu well over at the booths we sat at.

Lobster rice and short rib were so tasty! Do wish we had known it is no longer a whole lobster serviced on the rice but broken up throughout instead due to feedback about folks dealing with the shell; we saw picture in reviews and thought thats what we’d be getting.

The place got to about 25% capacity by the time we left around 9/9:30pm. Still surprising to us! Hope more people frequent here.

I think for elevated dining, service/hospitality could be a bit more elevated (providing unprompted menu suggestions, elevated staff attire, anniversary scribe plating, etc) but we did feel welcomed and checked in on well!

Happy we celebrated here. Will come back!

Visited while in town for the Auto Show. The food was phenomenal! Had the Enomah sushi roll, short rib bao buns, and short rib grilled cheese. All the of the food was incredible and I can’t recommend it enough. The Head Chef Woody checked in and introduced himself and he really knows what he’s doing. The price is very fair given how fantastic the food is. The dining area is very nice and I liked the music as well. They also told us they do live music sometimes on the weekends.

My experience was Fabulous! The ambiance as we entered was top tier. Our host was fun and engaging. (I forgot his name.) He seated us and Jordan was our server. She was patient and confident with the questions that we had. She was knowledgeable about menu and gave excellent advice about items. We started with Bao buns and followed with salad. I had the Yuzu soda with my meal. I had the lamb chops, with blueberry compote on a bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus. The lambs chops were cooked to perfection! My friend had the prime rib dinner with mashed potatoes and vegetables. We both had the warm milk cake for dessert. The item was delicious!!

I had the pan seared salmon overpriced, undercooked.
The atmosphere was lovely. The service was great food overpriced and you dont get much . we still left hungry . Baked macaroni and cheese, greasy and too much seasoning. Even the pop was overpriced with no free refills crazy it was a cool experience. But I definitely don’t recommend going. Maybe, for drinks, or just the atmosphere. But far as food should skip it.

I’ll start by saying that the food and drinks were great. My wife and I both ordered the short ribs, lobster Mac and had the thyme traveler and Zen garden drinks.

Now the bad. Had a reservation at 7:30pm. When we arrived, no one was there to greet us at the hostess stand. We had to basically find him ourselves. Once we did, we were seated, and waiting 10-15 minutes before anyone said a word to us. And only half the tables were filled, so it wasn’t like it was busy at all. The wait staff were handling all the tables around, no one said anything. Finally, the manager, Mack, came over to wait on us. He apologized about the wait and took our drink order. 5 minutes later he came to finally fill out waters and told us our drinks would be out in 30 seconds. Another 5 minutes out drinks came out and we finally ordered food.

Around 8:15pm, Mack brought us lobster fried rice, we didn’t order it. I explained that to him and he apologized and let us keep the fried rice, without the lobster.

Finally after waiting almost 1 and a half hours, we received the RIGHT food. Well most of it, the lobster Mac came out about 10-15 minutes after our short ribs.

When he got the bill, I saw that they still charged us $64!!! for the lobster fried rice. They took it off without any issue but that’s crazy for a bowl of rice with a lobster tail on top. Honestly, the food and drinks were overpriced. It really didn’t match the level of service we received. Especially considering 20% gratuity is automatically charged.

We ended up being there little over two hours. For it to be so not busy, with empty tables everywhere, to say thee service was lacking is an understatement. And for the overpriced food and the auto tip, I expected more.

I will not go back.

The service and food were amazing!! Jordan was amazing – service with a smile and provided great recommendations. I ordered the special of the evening- prime rib. It was cooked to perfection – flavor popped and the sear was great while also meeting the “doneness” expectations I ordered. Wrapped the evening with the Warm Butter Cake. Both dishes as a must order.

Pros:
Empty on Sunday afternoons. No reservations needed.
Beautiful restaurant design
Private dining room option
Mack & team provided professional service
Food presentation is appealing
Enomah sushi roll
Steak bites
Enomah Wings

Cons:
$18 Truffle Fries
Oyster Rockefeller over powered by bacon bits & the temperature wasn’t the hottest
Tempura Vegetables: no seasoning at all
Bao Buns: fried & greasy

Overall: The appetizers aren’t worth the price.
I think (heavy on think) I would come back for dinner before completely marking this restaurant as a no go.
