My mother and I came here and drove from an hour away. We didn’t realize that we had to have a reservation but luckily they weren’t extremely busy and they were able to seat us on the patio.
The staff was quick, gracious and attentive.
The tea and food were very good with a large enough portion for the two of us to share the tower and even take some home. We each got a small pot of tea and the waitress refilled the pots with more hot water.
We thought the price was very good for the food and experience.
The ambiance, decorations, table setting with adorable tea cups was amazing!!!
We did have some tea sandwiches that had the bread dried out and crust on it but the restaurant business is hard and things can be missed. We are all human.
Definitely a 5 star experience for us and when I come back to Arizona I will go again but make a reservation just in case. Also will go on a weekday again like we did since it won’t be as busy as a weekend would be ensuring the experience is not rushed.

Really disappointed from recent 2 pm visit. My wife and I have been here in the past and food was excellent. Got 2 towers (consolidated into 1), and the scones and finger sandwiches were dry and tasteless. It was like we were served whatever pre-prepared was left over in the kitchen before last seating (they closed at 3). Still cute setting, had some fun and service was excellent, but the food was just awful considering a 3 figure bill. Treated a 90 year old friend to her first visit and she loved the ambience but i decided against visit with other elderly friends i was considering. Don’t know if I’ll ever be back.

The town’s charm is undeniable, with the English Rose Tea Room being a standout gem. Suitable for all ages, it is an absolute must-visit, offering the perfect backdrop for romantic evenings, girls’ getaways, Mother’s Day celebrations, Father-Daughter bonding, or simply a day of pampering. The addition of dress-up hats further elevates the experience.
Definitely call for reservations, its not a big space and very popular.

Atmosphere is awesome and so cute. Tea was delicious and we loved the experience. The food was subpar, we were not impressed especially with the prices of the items. The macaroons tasted like fake wax. Great experience but wish the food was better. Make sure you check out the fun bathroom!

Delightful tea room. Enjoyed everything we ate, excellent service and charming decor. Check for the lemon blueberry scones- worth the hour drive up from Tempe just for those alone!

The place is adorable but very small. The inside can only seat so many people but there is outdoor seating as well. We visited after lunch so we had the afternoon tea dish which comes with a three tier dish and a small pot of tea. The bottom tier is 6 very tiny sandwiches (2 chicken, 2 salmon, 2 cucumber – eachabout 2 bites). The middle tier is two scones and a strawberry sauce and some kind of buttercream sauce – I might add the scones were extremely dry. The top tier is desserts – some kind of parfait, a lavender sugar cookie, a strawberry shortcake cake, a chocolate dipped strawberry, and a macaroon. The tea pot is small and enough for about 3 cups of tea but you can upgrade for a larger pot for an additional cost. It’s definitely a shareable dish but definitely not a hearty shareable dish. If you’re visiting on an empty stomach you will need more sandwiches or another dish. They have a large variety of teas and appear to serve Harney & Sons. They serve the tea in the tea pot and offer a cup sifter, tiny little golden tea spoons, cute little teacups, milk and cream (as desired) on the side, as well as cubed sugar. We have visited other tea concept restaurants across Arizona and this place was more about the experience. It is quite the drive from Phoenix and the west side but located in a shopping center that you can explore. Overall, if you’re looking to experience an English style tea place, this is a nice little place to try.

My second time here and reservations are a must. Stopped by during cave creek’s restaurant week and scored a mini pot pie, salad and pumpkin scone. Paired it with the Paris tea and it was all delicious. Our server was Makayla and she did a great job taking care of us. Looking forward to coming back again.

The moment you walk into the shop, the smell was so fragrant and beautiful. The decor was gorgeous, and my sister said it was the best decorated high tea shop she has ever been to.
I requested high tea for my Bachelorette, and my sister’s surprised me with this place. The food was delicious, the tea was amazing, and the ambiance was truly memorable. The staff here did an amazing job at explaining and suggesting certain items.

I can not say enough good things about the English Rose Tea Room. It had been recommended to me by multiple locals and stated I had to bring my daughter there. We bought matching dresses and made an impromptu trip there today. It was very busy! The place was hopping. Multiple tables of bridal parties, baby shower parties and birthday parties…. Everyone dressed up and looking fabulous. I entered and asked for a table for two. The woman asked if I had a reservation. At that point I realized I probably needed one and especially on a busy holiday weekend. The woman was very kind and said she could squeeze us in before a 3pm bridal party reservation. I thanked her up and down ensuring her I’d make sure we were done by then. We enjoyed the Kids Food Tower and my salad. Recommendations on the food and tea from the waitress were wonderful and the service was friendly and patient from start to finish. We made sure we cleared our table before 3pm and thanked everyone for letting us squeeze in. We will be making reservations in the future and inviting sister and auntie!!

The environment was fun. I have experienced high tea in Europe and many places. The food provided was very little for the price. I ordered two towers in hopes of feeding 5 people which was not possible with what they offer. 1 sweet tower has 6 items which included 2 scones and by items I mean “A” 2inch cookie 2 strawberries picture included. The second tower included a few half sandwiches 2 scones and maybe 3 sweet items. Definitely not enough to feed 5 people. My recommendation would be offer towers according to people at the table for example Tower for two or Tower for 6….. wouldn’t mind paying extra for the right amount to ensure everyone was able to taste each item
