We are here in town for the weekend and had the best experience. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Our pizza was delicious and huge! Don’t sleep on the mozzarella sticks either. They were delicious!

Been around since 1979. A true treasure of Salem. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is incredible. The pizza is hand tossed with love. The FIRE CHIEF pizza has the perfect balance of pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, onion, sausage and so much more. It is so delicious. I totally recommend it. I bet you can’t eat just 2 slices. Beer on tap. The prices are great. Whatever you order, you will not be disappointed.

By getting two large pizzas to share among five of us , we were able to get three slices per person for just $6 each 🙂 and it was really yummy , especially with the spices

Counter service, reasonable prices for the pizza (other things not so much), and $3 PBR draft!

Pizza was well made and service was good. The space was well maintained and themed well. Engine House seems to have a strong following of younger patrons which can be a touch loud however.

We come by anytime we’re in Salem. Really awesome calzone with fluffy crispy dough, saves well too!! Sausage was really generous too and didn’t feel gross after like you sometimes do with extra greasy sausage. Really appreciated their patience with us ordering when it was like 95 degrees out and someone in our group was having a heat induced panic attack with their mask on.

My family and I walked passed this establishment about 20 minutes after they closed. The owner saw us looking through the window and came out an offered us the left over slices for the night. If you’re into NY Style pizza this is the real deal. The crust is perfectly cooked. A nice crisp on the outside yet soft and flavorful on the inside. The bottom of the pizza was cooked to perfection as well. Everything about this pizza was excellent. Don’t miss out if you’re in town looking for a great slice! Can’t wait to go back during business hours for me.

Great food. Great attitudes. My family and I recently visited and ordered a small pizza and three subs, all were delicious. The subs were sized well and loaded with whatever you chose. The pizza was also sized well and very cheesy. Highly recommend a stop if you’re in town or within driving distance.

Always stop in for a slice when in Salem, I think the customer service is okay (they’re often working non stop, so you have to understand that chatting it up and other niceties, they simply don’t have time for). The pizza is good, and reasonably priced. I don’t usually sit and eat though because for whatever reason the other patrons consistently have staring problems lol and I am not particularly “out there” in appearance lol. Not that, that is an excuse for being rude of course, staring is always rude. Definitely recommend it for cheap eats or if pizza is what you are craving, there are great restaurants in the immediate area, but nothing hits like a good slice.
