1/28 ten of us met for a luncheon meeting. Sharon, our server, was efficient, polite, and delivered the food timely. We appreciated the service and hospitality you only get in a Mom and pop place. The food we ordered was delicious and well prepared. Going back next week we loved it so much we are going to be “regulars”.
We will more pics next time. See you soon!!!

This restaurant is filthy and order was incorrect. The taste of pupusas smell like leftover food. No flavor and discusting. I do not recommend, I had ordered mix pupusas, as my family and I eager to taste them once again I ordered 20 pupusas, came home with 16 of them.

First time having guatemalan food and I can honestly say it is different and unique! Very impressed by the flavor profile- the chicken and pork were very well seasoned. Would recommend if you’d like to try something different. And Ypsi is nice in that it offers well rounded authentic cuisine options

Stopped here on the way to the airport and I was highly pleased with the food! I just came for lunch so wasn’t too hungry but we ordered the chicken empanadas, Milanese de pollo, and garnachas with pork to share. The empanadas were delicious, very crispy and flavorful especially with the slaw and sauce that accompanied it. The garnachas were super flavorful and the Milanese was awesome! The homemade corn tortillas were heavenly. Only complaint would be the rice being a bit dry. Otherwise, everything was amazing, and the agua frescas are worth mentioning as well, so refreshing!

How have I missed this place all this time?
I’ve driven by more times than I’d like to admit, and only just now stopped in—clearly a mistake. Every dish at our table was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. And the sides? A thoughtful bonus. I got pickled carrots (surprisingly addictive), and my son had the carrots, slaw, and a bit of sauce that tied it all together.
Safe to say we’ve found a new favorite. We’ll be back—probably more often than we should.

This place is mind-blowing! So authentic. The food was fantastic in a way I don’t even have words for! The food was flavorful, and delicious. The yucca root fries were so amazing! Crisp on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside. The Salvadoran Horchata was the perfect amount of sweet and spices. The pupusas were exquisite. Everything I had was stellar.
I can’t wait to get back there!
Service was wonderful, too. All the staff were smiling, happy and so kind!
I’m going to bring everyone I know here.

Loved this place! We went for lunch and got a fried fish and some papusas. Some of the best food Ypsi has to offer! Can’t wait to come back when I’m back in town.

The fish was superb – fresh and delicious, crispy outside, soft and juicy inside. Our waitress, Jocie, was cheerful, friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back!
Update: we came back again two weeks later to try some more dishes. They were all great – I particularly liked the chile rellenos, while my wife loved the chicken stew!
Update 04/25/2022: We came back again today and tried the fish and chile rellenos again today. Both were divine as always.
