Went to a birthday party and they announced that Encore Bar & Lounge would be the place for the afterparty. I’ll say this, it was packed and was only supposed to accommodate the party goers from the birthday party at another establishment however there experience was actually fantastic and made me wish I knew of this place before. Great atmosphere, attentive bartenders that were lightning fast which is what you want when you’re trying to close the night out. Not only that, even though it was busy, the bartenders and staff were still courteous to the guests and everyone was accommodated. In fact, the staff was so cool, even the security guys at the door were giving directions and helping people find places in there area as alot of us weren’t familiar with the new construction going on. It’s nestled in the perfect spot and looks like it would be a great place to catch a live band or show, or to have a few drinks with friends, co-workers, or even a decent first date spot to break the ice. I’d definitely check it out if you’re into having a mature, grown and sexy good time. I did not rate the food only because I was there after kitchen hours during my experience.

The Brothers of Iota Phi Theta recently held a Founders Day Gala. The venue has generous space, nicely decorated, good drinks, clean restrooms. They even have a stage to set up for a live band. I would definitely recommend this spot for your next event.

I came in Encore and pay $20 per person to get in. Went to the bar to get a drink waited for about five minutes, to be next when it was my turn to be served which isn’t bad. When it was my turned to serviced, I was ignored by all three Bartenders at the bar and was told I’m at this end of the bar or I have to go talk tot eh owner (for what idk) and they went to their people they already knew. I kept being told one second as people came up to the bar, and they went to them first knowing that I was standing there longer then they were. I stood at that bar for 30 minutes to not be served so I walked out. Will not be coming back to location and won’t recommend it anyone. The Music was but better service and more workers is needed.
