The service was outstanding, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The place was very, very clean, and even though it was packed, they attended us quickly and our food came out in about 10–15 minutes.
We ordered the Sweet Plantain Trio and the Volcano Burger, both were incredibly good. And you HAVE to try the gelato, especially the guanábana flavor. 10/10 overall. We will definitely be coming back!
We went on Tuesday night and had a great experience. The restaurant is small, but the atmosphere immediately transported me to the “City of Flowers” — Medellín. Very warm, authentic, and full of character.
The food was excellent, full of flavor, and clearly well prepared. Service was friendly and attentive, even though the place could benefit from having an additional waitress to help during busy moments.
Overall, the experience was very enjoyable. Great food, great vibes, and genuine hospitality. I definitely recommend Encanto if you’re looking for a quality Spanish dining experience.
The owner welcomed us in and asked us if we have ever had Columbian food (no) and was kind enough to explain the dishes and had a fabulous presentation of the dishes on a screen.
As soon as you walk in it feels like you got transported into a rainforest. It was an intimidate and colorful dining experience.
We also had an arepa stuffed with shredded chicken and sausage, served with fries, and it was so good, warm, comforting, and super filling. The sauces on the side were a nice touch too.
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were really friendly and helpful with explaining the menu.
To make it worse, ordering two of the Picado for 4 of the Picado for 2 people would have cost the same and given us WAY MORE food. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they doubled down and dismissed us like we didn’t know what we were talking about.
The lack of honesty and the way they handled the situation was completely unacceptable. We left feeling ripped off, talked down to, and treated with zero respect. Save yourself the frustration and take your money somewhere that values its customers. Wasted gas , time and my poor family waiting all night for us to feed them. Disgusted and will make sure all my colombianos know how you treat your customers. I will post the picture of the picado for TWO & that’s exactly what they gave us for FOUR people.
First time at Encanto Restaurant, and we’re already planning our return! This place is tiny, but that’s part of the charm—it has a cozy, backyard garden feel with tropical bird art on the walls and a sweet, welcoming vibe throughout. Definitely make a reservation, as seating is limited.
We were greeted immediately by a wonderful server who made us feel right at home. Since it was our first visit, we weren’t totally sure how the menu worked, but she walked us through it so kindly and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
We shared the Enchanted Platter, and it was perfect for first-timers—it includes a little bit of everything: grilled meats like carne asada, chicken, chorizo, and morcilla (black sausage), plus plantains and yellow potatoes. The flavors were bold, comforting, and totally satisfying—and the portion was huge. We were very glad we shared!
We also tried the Enchanted Mimosas, which were tropical, refreshing, and the perfect sip for the setting.
Fun surprise: Encanto is the sister restaurant to Mi Buena Vida, the fantastic Mexican spot right next door—so the good vibes and great food made perfect sense the moment we stepped in.
This was a beautiful intro to Colombian cuisine in a setting that feels like a tucked-away treasure. We’ll definitely be back—next time, hungrier and ready to explore more of the menu.
