Some of the worst Dominican food I’ve ever had. Uncooked tostones, they forgot to fry it a second time. The chicharonnes de pollo was absolute disgusting. Full of oil, to much seasoning it was overpowering. Sabroso was 10x better than this new restaurant.

The food was below average. The chicharon was decent. The bistek was tough and the carne asada no taste. Food serving was modest. They have to substitute my churasco for the bistek, so I’m not sure that’s why I got extra salad. maduros was not oily. Price point average. I would rather pay more for taste. The lady called in for the substitution but she only speaks Spanish. Thank you for the food.

Wish I read the reviews before I ordered from Grubhub today because it seems like they try to get one over on everyone. Ordered Mangu con Huevo Hervido, 1 Cheese Empanada, Aloe Vera Watermelon Juice and Avena (oatmeal). After 45 minutes I received Mangu with no cheese or salami- just mashed plantain, red onion and hard-boiled eggs, a deflated beef empanada with a sprinkle of filling, a bottle of Mystic carrot juice and a cup of Morir Sonando. If you are out of stock on items, you should call the customer to see if they want a refund or replacement. People have allergies to things, don’t eat meat, paid higher price for the items they actually want for you to mess around with their food. And in this economy? Yeah no. I won’t be ordering from here again.

I placed an order from food here based on their photos and I got a completely different food order. Their service sucks. Their delivery driver was complaining that he had to drive to deliver my food and when they called them on the phone, there explanation was that they had to substitute my food because they didn’t have it without my approval as a restaurant. How are you Just gonna give someone a completely different order? And a really bad substitution. White rice and broth?

I wish the former owner did not give up this restaurant. The food now under the new owner is horrible… at least the potato salad. Dominican potato salad is one of kind and everyone knows what that taste is like as well as the texture and how it is served. I ordered a small order of potato salad which I found the cost to be a little too high for ten people. Regardless, the potato and carrots were served huge CHUNKS. Simply trash. Please do not buy the potato salad from here unless you want a fruit cocktail style salad. Go to Punta Cana in Somerset. I will never order from here again. This restaurant should close down for not knowing how to make a authentic Dominican potato salad.

A item that I ordered was missing. Then they sent me codfish to replace the Baccala actually ordered! I ordered it on DoorDash. I would never order there again! It was my first and last. Generally, I checked the reviews, I wish I had done it this time and could’ve saved $114 spent there!

The food was delicious but one thing that really killed my experience was the fact that they didn’t include any limes with my picadera, even after requesting it in the special requests section of Doordash. I spent over $100 on my order and just thought this was a turnoff, as everyone knows a Picadera is not the same without limones. Other than that, the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The lime issue is the only thing stopping me from giving a 5 star review.
