By far the worst calzone ever. I paid for each topping, roughly $25 for this calzone only to have maybe 3 bites of meat. The rest was cheese and ricotta. Tasted horrible. I then call to kindly dispute and the cook was defensive. Instead of offering a new calzone with adequate meat he suggested I drive back to return it and get my money back, which defeats the whole point of ordering food. Clearly I wasnt valued, nor is my business wanted. The wings were overcooked as well. Never again.

Got pizza take out for Saturday Football. Pizza was okay and salad was good, yet basic. But DO NOT ORDER ANY SIDES! The boneless chicken wings, $19.99, are nuggets not wings (dried out children’s similar to McD’s in looks) and the cheese sticks $7.99 are hard and bit like a hot dog. Over spent about $28.00 (19.99 for fake wings and 7.99 for rubbery cheese sticks) Called but nothing was rectified or comped. Beyond a disappointing order. Restaurant smelled weird too and at 1:00 no one was in there. Guess I should’ve ordered there and that would’ve been a major clue! I

Encanto grill has been my family’s go to place everytime we take a weekend to prescott. The service is always very nice and not usually busy until later in the night so we hit it empty. It’s very big and spacious with lots of seating. The food is really good, however I’m pretty sure every dish besides the pizzas are premade and reheated in the ovens. Same as the salads, they are frozen and thawed out throughout the day, because I had gotten half frozen lettuce. It’s delicious food but not made in house which is disappointing for being a restaurant not fast food.

Very nice dining experience. I’ve been in for takeout orders several times and the food was always good. This time I dined at the restaurant with a rather difficult party. The servers and hostesses were all very helpful and patient with the table. The meals were served quickly and the food was delicious. Our server was attentive and very good.
I will definitely return to this restaurant for both dine in and take out orders.

I’d give zero star’s, super disappointed. We have been local loyal customers since I tried there pizza, this WAS my fave pizza spot. So tonight, called in for a large pizza, nice and easy but yes just after 5pm, dinner time. Not a problem there, was told 20-25 mins, literally gave them 25. When we arrived, I was told our pizza would be right out. In the next 10 mins, I watched other customers come in and out with several pizza’s, so I understandably knew they were busy. But then, the hostess comes out and tells us that they “lost” our pizza. I’m a sweetheart anyone that knows me, and I sweetly added it would be nice for them to add anything to my order, breadsticks anything to compensate me for my time. The hostess said yes that she would talk to the cook. So now I’m waiting for another half hour there. She hands me my pizza and only my pizza, and just says sorry about that. I guess yes that bothered me, but it truly bothered me way more that not only did I have to wait over an hour for my 1 pizza, it was burnt. I guess they lack professionalism in the hospitality department and there pizza’s really are starting to SUCK! Last time I spend even a minute waiting for anything from them again. Thanks for wasting even more my time Encanto, that pizza was garbage just like your shot out restaurant.

This place is amazing! Their pizza is always hot and delicious and the staff is very friendly and attentive. As far as pricing, they have some of the best deals I’ve seen on pizza and wings.
Support this local, family owned restaurant!

Good grief… Hire some servers that speak and comprehend English. It’s was extremely hard to understand the girl we got last night. Then, I asked what they have for dessert and she didn’t understand me. I had to explain ” you know, like cake and ice cream”.
The people behind us were trying to explain to their male server what Pinot grigio is. This is not ok. Servers should know what these things are.
The pizza was also not brand as good as it used to be a few months ago.
Won’t be back for awhile.

Come here often, love their food. However, tonight was a different experience when I placed a pick up order. Picked up my food, arrived home and realized they had messed up my order. When I called them to explain the situation and ask for my order to be fixed, the hostess had hung up on me. I called back 3 times afterwards with no answer. The final time I called I had been pulling into the parking lot. The hostess finally answered my call and when I had told them I had just called and was hung up on, she laughed nervously, and said “yes” admitting to hanging up on me then asked if I was ready, to which I replied “to order?” She said yes… I responded with “I don’t want to order, I want my food fixed”. I then had to come in to the restaurant, food in hand, to get my order fixed by communicating face to face and saying I will wait. Then they took back the messed up order…unsure what was done with it, but correct me if I’m wrong, you cannot take back food once it has been handed off to the customer, yet alone has left the building. I did not want to keep the food anyways, but having worked food service before, this seemed off to me. After the hostess had taken back the food, she went outside to chat with a young man shortly, and we did not see her again until 10 minutes later to hand our food off to us. Whole situation was just poorly handled, communicated, and absurd. Like I said, day to day, I’ve enjoyed every visit and enjoy their food, however this experience needed to be brought to light.

This was our first visit to the Encanto Italian Grill. This restaurant is located among a narrow industrial park just north of a residential area that is about a mile or less south of 89A, just off of Robert Road.
The place was at most about half full at 7:00 pm on a Saturday evening. I ordered their “All Meat” 8 inch pizza. It was delicious and cooked to perfection, though the dough was thicker than what I prefer, but that’s OK. It was still an enjoyable pizza. My wife ordered the 16 inch gluten-free mushroom pizza, as Kelly the server told us 16 inch was the only option available, so that’s all my wife could order. When the pizza came, it came burned, not just the edges but the bottom as well. When we showed the server how the bottom of the crust was burned, she asked if we wanted another, we told her, “Of course.” That seemed rather obvious to us. When she brought the “remake” she brought two smaller single 8 inch gluten-free pizzas. I asked her why she didn’t offer the smaller size as our first option. She said she didn’t know they were available. While they did not burn the center of the crusts of the 8 inch versions, they did burn the edges. This is because the gluten-free crusts cook differently than normal crusts and require different temperature and (careful) handling. This crust was very thin, and like most GF crusts, they are made of very starchy flours and will therefore burn easily. That means you’ll have to cover or protect the edges of this crust with aluminum foil to keep them from burning. When the first crust burned, the cook should have deduced; the second ones will too. Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly, expecting different results. So we have two issues: knowing how to cook a GF pizza, and making sure burned pizzas don’t make it to a customer. This is a training issue for both the FOH and BOH (front of the house and back of the house. Note: I am a retired chef.)
As far as decor, it seems this place has a hard time trying to figure out what it wants to be. If you’re expecting an Italian motif as advertised on the front of the building, don’t. The Mexican music blaring from the kitchen will be your first clue. There is as much a southwestern motif as there is anything else. The decor hanging on the walls is quite an eclectic collection, ranging from southwestern to homey to retro early American, to pseudo Italian. The food and service is what’s counts. The service was marginally OK (only because she didn’t intercept the burned pizza coming out of the kitchen), and the flavor of the pizza was very good once they cooked the second pizza a second time. I recommend the owner speak to the kitchen manager about the volume of the Mexican music coming out of the kitchen, or at least play Italian music because it is an Italian restaurant, after all. Since the flavor of the pizzas was good, we’ll give them another try, or try other dishes on our next trip to Prescott Valley.
