Checked out this new Japanese spot in downtown Tacoma and had a great overall experience. Since it was our first time, the server took the time to explain the menu and walk us through the options, which we really appreciated.
I ordered the tonkotsu yakitori ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful with a subtle smoky note, likely from the yakitori, which made it stand out from standard tonkotsu. The yakitori itself was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. A solid bowl of ramen.
We also had the chirashi bowl, and the fish slices were fresh and generously portioned. The same goes for the yellowtail roll and seared salmon roll. Both were fresh, clean-tasting, and bursting with flavor.
Miso soup and salad came on the side. The miso soup was good, but unfortunately some of the salad greens were wilted and not as fresh as expected.
Service was friendly and pleasant, though a bit semi-attentive. We would’ve loved a little more proactiveness with water refills instead of having to ask.
Overall, this is a nice addition to the Tacoma food scene, and I’d definitely come back to try more items on the menu. Just a heads-up: parking can be tricky, so plan ahead.

When you consider sushi, one of the first things you think of the bill. Thankfully Tacoma has En Sushi. The pricing vs the quality of the food here is outrageous in the best way. Everything in my images provided, before tip, was $42.97. It is absolutely wonderful. An atmospheric restaurant with lovely staff and wonderful food. Also let the server know of any allergies and they can find ways to accommodate or inform you. There also is a whole page of vegan options to choose from. Highly recommend!

Amazing taste, atmosphere and service. They are a new sushi restaurant in Tacoma. Well worth the money! The sushi was fresh. The seared salmon roll was absolutely delicious.. started with salad and miso soup. Hit the spot. The ramen was one of the best I’ve had.. the last picture is what I took home, to go.

I was feeling a little under the weather and craving ramen, and my fiancé found En Sushi not far from our daughter’s apartment. Let me just say… 100/10**.
En Sushi did NOT disappoint.
I ordered the Spicy Seafood Ramen, and if I could give it 100 stars I absolutely would. The broth had the perfect level of heat, warm and comforting without overpowering the flavor. It was packed with quality seafood and vegetables, and the portion was incredibly generous. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you’re craving a really good bowl of ramen. The noodles were fantastic too, perfectly cooked and held the broth beautifully.
My fiancé ordered the Shoyu Ramen and loved it. We also tried the Tako Nigiri and Unagi Nigiri. Both were delicious, but the Unagi was easily our favorite. Beautifully prepared.
The seafood quality was excellent, portions were great, and everything tasted incredibly fresh.
I also enjoyed a shot of Japanese whiskey to sip on with lunch, which was the perfect little bonus to an already great meal.
The whole experience was comforting, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. We will absolutely be back for a sushi night, and until then I’ll definitely be dreaming about that ramen.

Happened to stumble upon this restaurant on their opening day (was originally going to get thai food next door but saw the grand opening sign and walked in). Clean, modern, and spacious. The workers were really nice and attentive. I really like their menu; there was a whole section of baked/seared sushi rolls. I usually drive to Seattle to get good sushi, but not anymore! I finally found my go to sushi place in Tacoma. The portions are huge and the fish itself was very good quality.

AMAZING vegan sushi!!!! They have a whole separate vegan sushi menu and it was insanely good. The spicy tuna and cali fillings were so dang good it made you not miss fish!!!! Will definitely be back!!!
