Absolutely delicious! Everything was so flavorful and prepared perfectly. The focaccia & ricotta, and tagliatelle Alfredo were my favorites. The pizza was also amazing you can never go wrong with brick oven.

The dim lighting and ambiance make it perfect for a girls night or a date night. The service was great, and I highly recommend making a reservation since it does get really busy. We were seated at the bar, which we didn’t mind at all.

Very cool and unique space. However, if you’re looking for focaccia, understand what’s on the menu is not that. It’s the pizza crust with olive oil and herbs. In fact, AI described my photo as “rosemary flatbread.”

The waitress was kind but disappeared for a pretty long time after the entrees came. The rigatoni she recommended tasted great but was pretty oily. The draft red wine was decent.

We celebrated our New Year’s Eve dinner at this restaurant and couldn’t have chosen a better place. The à la carte menu was spectacular—everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We went as a family and everyone loved it. Highly recommended!

We were in the mood for pizza and stopped in around 5:30 and we were seated right away. The atmosphere is outstanding, with a warm, nicely decorated front and a bigger open and airy back end, giving the place a great vibe. Our server was all smiles, very warm and friendly and timed his stops perfectly to create a nice experience.

All that was great, but the pizzas were the star here. We kept it basic to get a feel for the place and we loved it. We’ll be back soon to try some of the rest of the menu as the other orders coming out looked phenomenal. If you’re anywhere in the area, I’d recommend giving Emporio a try – you’ll be happy you did!

We were a group and we found this restaurant very loud and therefore we had to scream to be able to speak with each other. The food was great but I sure won’t come back as I don’t like loud environments. If they only turned down the music maybe people wouldn’t have to scream. Kitchen made a mistake after my friend explicitly asked for no mushrooms and when his plate finally came back, it came without tartufo which is like the most expensive thing on that plate. Anyway..

Came for happy hour. The prosciutto pizza was delicious. Not NY style but would for sure recommend to locals or tourists. Like, it was really good. The Hugo Spritz was yummy and refreshing. Would definitely recommend it over the Etna Spritz. Tried taking the burnt cheesecake to go, but had to try a bite first and ended up eating the whole thing and taking a second one to go. Jonathan and Darko were friendly bartenders. Loved their service!

Beautiful restaurant. You WILL wait unless you sit at the bar. Fantastic Norcina, the most amazing homemade tiramisu. 12/10 would recommend.

Update: The issue has been resolved via email communication with the manager.

❌I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

I came here during happy hour, when the menu clearly states that all pizzas are 50% off. I ordered a pizza. Nothing unusual. But when the bill came, the server told me that because I didn’t specifically say I wanted the “happy hour pizza,” I was not eligible for the discount.

This makes absolutely no sense. As a first-time customer, how am I expected to know there’s a secret phrase required to access a discount that is plainly printed on the menu? I’ve lived in New York for years and have been to countless restaurants, but I have never encountered anything this absurd or misleading.

To make matters worse, I was never given the happy hour menu at any point, even though I arrived around 4:30 pm and happy hour runs from 4–6. The information was withheld, and then the responsibility was entirely placed on me. Ultimately, I was charged full price for the pizza despite the promotion being advertised.

In addition, the payment process was extremely misleading. When the POS device was handed to me, it displayed a total of $33.18 with no tip options and no breakdown of what I was being charged for. I reasonably assumed this amount was the price of the pizza plus tax. Only when I got home and reviewed the receipt did I realize that the restaurant had added an automatic tip of $5.98 (23.92%) without my consent.

At no point did the server inform me that a tip was being added, nor was I given any opportunity to choose or decline it. The server presented the amount as if it were simply the cost of the food with tax. I have never encountered a restaurant that adds an undisclosed tip directly to a bill, especially when I was dining alone and did not authorize it. This is absolutely deceptive, and violates basic consumer transparency.

Save your money and your time. There are plenty of honest restaurants in New York. This is not one of them.

Came here to have dinner with a couple of friends I met recently while settling down and adjusting working in manhattan. We had a great time and food options were great. I ordered the Buffela pizza, I’m a fan of it, although it wasn’t spicy…. We had a great time, food, drinks and atmosphere was remarkable. It is pricy but what do you expect of a restaurant with this high quality. Employees were nice and respectful. Will come again!

All the food was super good, highly recommend the seafood pasta and any pizza! One of the salads we had as a starter was also great. The only issue was the service. They were clearly short-staffed, so things came out slowly. We had to wait 30–45 minutes for the appetizers.
