So I am huge into finding the best plates ever, I’ve been all over town for the last 30 years looking for it. Empire Hots not only has the greatest plate in town, amongst other menu items that are phenomenal, the meat hot sauce is the best there is and that is crucial for the perfect plate. Along with having the best plate their service is unparalleled, the woman who’s usually at the counter Tawnya is so kind and helpful and always makes you feel welcome and at home when you walk through the door! I love this place and I love their service, especially their customer service because it is so difficult these days to find that and Empire Hots has every aspect of service, food and customer service especially from Tawnya hands down my favorite in and out food experience in town! Thank you empire hots and Tawnya for always making me always feel like I’m part of the family and the absolutely incredible food! I will continue to come in weekly, sometimes more hahah

I ordered door dash from here and had a red dog trash plate. The temperature of the dish really threw me off. The hot dog was warm but the BBQ beans were refrigerated cold! Which made the potatoes and meat sauce cold too! So my plate was cold with a lukewarm dog on top. Would be better if everything was piping hot.

The first few times we got a plate here, they were delicious. However, this last time the meat sauce was completely flavorless, the mac salad was super watery, and the plates were 2/3s mac salad. The staff were also pretty unfriendly. Likely will not be back.

Most amazing people and most amazing plates. My boyfriend and I get plates/fish fry every Friday night and the whole crew is amazing (especially the woman who takes the orders over the phone!) Shoutout to the wonderful food; never had any issues, errors or complaints. Used to get plates from a rival hots spot until their service turned poor after being so busy they kept hanging up after putting us on hold! NEVER have had any issues here no matter the time of day or night. I personally think they have the best Mac salad in roc recently. The portions are huge & consistent every week, only about 10 min wait time for pickup. Their home fries could be a little less fried occasionally (sometimes they seem like they’ve sat in oil too long, but they’re not overly crunchy) but that’s just being picky. They know us as regulars each week and the service and food keeps us coming EACH Friday even when we’re dieting, it’s our weekly cheat meal. They’re honest people with honestly good food and will forever come here and recommend to others.

The menu changes screens so fast you can’t read it. No mirror in the woman’s bathroom. (This seems petty until you need a mirror). Food was not good. Seems like maybe they need to change the oil out. Fries and fish are overcooked and very oily. Even my 16 year old boy wouldn’t eat the French fries. I think that says a lot. He did, however, say that the burger was good. So I changed the one star to two.

Classic Trash Plate! Home with the kids for a visit and had to share the experience of an E-Hots Plate. The place looks nicer than I remember it from the early 2000’s. Food is as good as I remember. Definitely suggest you stop in for this Webster icon.

Service was friendly and the place was clean and basic. My dinner companion and I found the food not only ridiculously bland but also expensive. Roughly $22 for that skinny grilled cheese (no side) and a burger plate. It just wasn’t good 🙁

Love their plate! It’s too much for me to eat so I was glad I discovered the 1/2 plate. Probably should be half the proce, but it is still a lot of food. Great for one sober person.
