Check out this feast fit for an Emperor! This is the authentic Chinese American food we all love. Saucy stir fries in a surprisingly pleasant atmosphere. Beware the hot mustard and embrace the red 40.

The place is clean and quiet. Plenty of parking spaces outside. The service is quick. The waitress Lillian was professional and caring. She made sure everything was perfect. We got a sweet and sour chicken. Your classic Chinese dish. However, the food has no vegetables. We’re used to having some peppers and other things in it. This one was just the chicken and the sauce on top of it. We were surprised by that. So one star less. It tasted good though and the portion was large. Please add veggies back to the sweet and sour chicken dish.

My husband and I decided to do something different for Christmas Eve dinner so we ordered Chinese food for delivery for a quiet and simple evening at home. This was the best idea ever because everything was so fresh and delicious!! I think we may have started a new tradition! Thank you Emperor’s Place!!! Merry Christmas! ❤️

This has always been a consistently good restaurant. Clean, friendly, and affordable. But today that changed when I saw the new menu for the first time. The selections diminished and the prices skyrocketed. Yeah, yeah, yeah I know we’re in weird economic times and everything comes with a list of excuses, but every inch of my wallet is covered with little teeth marks where it’s being constantly nibbled by everyone with an excuse.
$4.50 per soda for a family of four is nearly $20 worth of flavored carbonated water that we can no longer justify ordering.
$26 per combo meal + $1.50 extra to change orange chicken to sweet & sour chicken & another $2.50 to turn steamed rice into fried rice makes it $30 for a simple plate of Chinese food.
Add in the drinks & sales tax and a family of four owes over $150 for Chinese food?!?!
After years of family dinners, tonight will be the last at the Emperor’s Palace.

I must say that my experience for lunch here on Thursday was exceptional.. i had the almond fried chicken dinner combination plate and it was enough portions for me and my aunt to share, our server Sage was wonderful, very polite checked on us throughout our meal. It was overall a very pleasant experience. I would recommend it very strongly..

Had a solo lunch at The Emperor’s Palace near the mall in Olympia. I hadn’t been there in years and was pleased to find it bright and clean. The fish tank that greets you in the lobby could use a good cleaning tho. They have some beautiful colorful fish in that tank but it looked kind of murky and boring. Poor, bored fish!
I decided on one of their combo meals, asking to substitute the almond chicken for some teriyaki chicken instead. The waitress was very sweet and accommodating. I decided on the combo with General Tzo’s Chicken, fried rice, teriyaki chicken and a spring roll. I also ordered a half portion of the crab puffs as an appetizer.
The crab puffs were hot and full of cheese. I couldn’t really taste the crab, tho. They were tasty, don’t get me wrong, but definitely lacking in the fake crab used in these appetizers.
My food came out quickly after the crab puffs, hot and fresh. Overall, the meal was pleasant. Nothing outstanding in any of the dishes, tho. The General Tzo’s was extremely mild in spicing, which some people may like. I do like a bit more heat in my General Tzo’s. The teriyaki was tasty, as were the rice and the spring roll. A solid, filling lunch, with hints of mediocrity. Nothing special or outstanding. If you’re looking for a simple Chinese lunch, this delivered. If you want something that really wow’s your tastebuds, then you may want to try someplace else.
The waitress and other staff were excellent. Nice, polite and very accommodating. 5 stars for service but 3.5 for the food. I gave an overall 4 star rating, mostly based on the service.

Hit and miss with the Lemon Chicken, sometimes it seems dry. The Staff is friendly and curious. But the Chicken Curry Soup is always awesome, and a must try!

I had such a great experience thanks to Kenyon! He’s new at Emperor’s Palace, but you’d never know it. He was super friendly, upbeat, and provided fantastic service from start to finish. It’s always refreshing to be greeted with such genuine positivity and professionalism. Kenyon definitely made my visit a great one, and I’ll be asking for him next time!
