First time visiting after hearing good things from others. Restaurant is well presented and staff are attentive and service was quick. I have been to a few other Indian restaurants since moving to Maidenhead and initially the prices at Emporer of India seemed somewhat higher.

I feel the prices are justified in the quality and taste of the food. It’s the subtleties in the food itself and the presentation. Was a uniqueness in the flavours of my dish that I have never had before.

I think my only mistake was ordering a starter with the main. I think the better option is to get a main with sides or accompaniments. Very excited to return and explore the menu more

Lovely service with a nice ambience. We were a group of 5 and appreciated the round table. The staff were lovely and food was delicious. They gave us warm towels in between courses and a mint at the end. Would definitely recommend!!

We had such a delicious meal here, trying a variety of dishes including lamb, chicken, and spinach potato (aloo saag). Everything was beautifully cooked and full of flavour.

The naan was a standout—especially the peshawari naan, which quickly became my favourite with its sweet, nutty filling. The portion sizes were generous—we were a group of five and still had leftovers!

The atmosphere was lovely, relaxed and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a great spot for sharing plates and a good time with friends or family.

Went for the Sunday buffet. At first glance I thought there were only four options. But three of the serving trays you see in the first photo are divided into three compartments each. So you end up with nine curries (four vegetarian) and rice. On the side tables there is salad and sauces and dessert. You also get a naan bread included in the £20 price.

The curries were all delicious but the lamb one is just amazing. Loved the vegetarian curry too. The naan was baked fresh and tasted very good.

Had a look at their a la carte menu too and the selections looked very good and diverse. Would go back definitely.

I arrived fairly late, but was still made very welcome. The lamb madras was perfectly spiced with plenty of meat. One of the best curries I’ve had in a long time.

Plenty of parking, spacious inside and quick, friendly service. Bit chilly at first in the early evening but warmed up. Good selection of chutneys with the pappadoms. Would like to see a veggie Dhansak offered but tried the Tofu for a change which you can have mild, medium or hot. The hot version was like a madras, not bad, would like some veggies in there too. My wife’s chicken Pathia was a bit too spicy. Good value with an offer. Thumbs up over all.

Good food, especially the nans which are fluffy with big bubbles in the dough and the pickles chutney that they serve with their papadom.
The service could be somewhat smiling more…
Pricey at the end, but rather nice.

We had a wonderful meal here after a long drive. Just wanted something quick and tasty and the Indian style butter chicken was by far the best I’ve had. Great atmosphere, friendly service, all the food looked fantastic. Thank you to the all team

First time ordering from this restaurant, had tandoori chicken was so salty, couldn’t eat it. A waste of £14.95.
Also ordered 1 portions of samosa, and just got 3 tiny ones.
Would not recommend.

This lovely restaurant serving delicious fresh food, beautifully prepared and presented. We had different dishes each with their individual flavours. The Tandoori chicken, Tarka Dhal and Pilau Rice were my choice and were beyond expectations. The Naan breads were light and fluffy, my husband loved his King Prawn Dhanzak. Wonderful service.
