This was our first time dining in at EmpaTaco. Up until now, we have just done takeout. The food, service, and atmosphere was fantastic! We went there for their Taco Tuesday special and they did not disappoint. We had the pleasure of having Lisette as our server. She did an excellent job at making our first time dining in a delightful experience. The appetizers, tacos, and dessert were fantastic. We had their chips and salsa, the colombian empanadas, tacos, and flan for dessert. I highly recommend you try them all! We are looking forward to the next time we dine in!

We are so lucky to have EmpaTaco in Lacombe!!! Truly a great place with delicious food every time. We usually order to go, but tonight we dined in and had a great experience. Our tacos were delicious – fish, steak, and chicken. We also had the Colombian empanadas which are one of our favorites. Our server Lisette (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) was amazing and provided excellent service. Again, we are so lucky to have this local restaurant just a few minutes away from us in Lacombe!

So happy for another spot here in Lacombe! The food was great. I love the daily specials and will definitely be back to try them all. Fish tacos on Friday were delicious. The guacamole was tasty and I’m getting the barria next time for sure. Draft beer! Dos Esquis, Coors, two favorites plus others. The sauces are also a yummy fresh options! You can tell they are house made.

Been in area for 2 months, worst meal we have encountered. We ordered a meal with 2 tacos, beans, rice and empanada. The tacos were about 3 inches round, same for empanada, tiny bowl of beans and rice. All this costs us $35.00 for 2 people. Considered servings, child portions. Will not be back!

Been there many times but today was awful.
Taco salad shells weren’t cooked all the way. The salsa was terrible. Waitress was nice. Usually very good. Not today. It was so bad that I’m seriously thinking I won’t be back. They must be under new management or owners.

Brought my compadre here on a Monday and had the most wonderful waitress, Lizzett, serve the food and we loved her vibes and positivity. We had the Columbian Empanadas and Bandeja Paisa for the first time and it was incredibly delicious. Love the music and atmosphere and we’ll definitely return back for lunch and dinner. Keep being the best EmpaTaco location!

My elderly mother wanted to treat me for lunch. We kept seeing the restaurant and the Latin colors so we went for lunch on a weekday. Mom and I both ordered Hot Tamales. We inquired about the size and expressed that we just wanted a little lunch.
Not only did it take forever to get the order out the Tamales were white looking like the corn meal had no flavor. When the waitress brought the bill I actually asked her if she had given us the correct bill.
She insisted that It was correct $79.00.
Yes mom and I were charged $79.00 for the worst Tamales I’ve ever tasted in my life we didn’t even eat them.
I couldn’t imagine what the price is to have dinner! Thank God we learned our lesson and we’ll never go back to find out!

Had the Cuban Plate ($13) for lunch. Black beans, white rice, small salad, and plantains and shredded pork (wife had the shredded beef). I liked it. Serving size was perfect.
