There are no closer places to get a Chilean food or snacks and this place is right in midtown Manhattan. ‘Empanadas de Pino’ or their delicious ‘Pastel de Choclo’, if you dare, you’re coming in for a very special new treat.
Come down and get a Chilean specialty done the right way in NYC. Hope they grow more and get some ‘Calzones rotos’ or ‘Brazos de reina’, who knows… you guys are going to love them.

We grabbed two empanadas to go on the way back from the circle line sightseeing cruise. We were hoping there was a place to sit down, but there wasn’t, because this place is just a counter. Don’t let that stop you from going. These are easily the best empanadas I’ve ever tasted. The filling was very traditional, but next time I go I will definitely try some of their fancier “modern” creations. On the ones we purchased, the crust was what really sold it. Such an amazingly light, almost fluffy, breading. We’ve tried to make these at home and can’t get anywhere close to the delicious crust of these. Highly recommended!
