A long overdue review for Empanada Company…
Quite frankly, this place makes me proud to be a resident of Bridgeville/South Fayette. This place simply kicks ass. First off, it’s really hard to feed your family without breaking the bank these days, so I really appreciate the prices.
I moved back to western PA in 2022 and for years now this place has been incredibly consistent.
I’m partial to the ham & cheese and potato and pea empanadas, but you really can’t miss. I prefer the fried ones because YOLO. The corn one is very popular with my kids. Whenever we are hosting vegans/vegetarians at our house, this place is a go-to. So many great options.
And can I just say that I buy their chimichurri in bulk and put that on everything? It’s divine. Yes my wife can smell me coming from three rooms away, but it’s totally worth it. All of their sauces are incredible actually.
My only gripe is that they close early (and they are so good they can do whatever they want. They deserve it). This place would really be the ultimate late-night drunk food. Luckily I’m in my 30s and those days are quickly slipping away.

Food was fantastic! Bought the chicken, beef, pork and the BBQ chicken empanadas. They all tasted really good and add the dipping sauce (chimichurri and garlic) which added to the flavor. Staff was very friendly—greeting us when we walked in and helped us with what flavors to try. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try this place out!

We just tried their Argentinian empanadas and they were amazing! I had the baked beef empanadas and they were packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and so satisfying. My husband went for the vegetarian options and was really impressed—there were plenty to choose from and every one he tried was delicious. We both left super happy and will definitely be coming back! Sweet little shop with fantastic food and friendly service. Hubby and I visited for lunch and shared a few different flavors of empanada and a nougat for dessert. So, so good! So, so authentic! Great selection, even for the vegan folks, with fair prices. We will be back for sure!

The empanadas were absolutely delicious! My significant other is from Argentina and he said the spinach and cheese reminded him of the ones his mom made when he was a child. The owners are very attentive and welcoming. Cannot wait to come back for more empanadas.

Very quick, friendly service. I got baked empanadas with beef, spinach & cheese, and potato and peas which were all delicious and flavorful and Nutella and banana mini empanadas for dessert. I’ll have to get the fried ones next time! And I loved the cute little imprints on each empanada to indicate which one was which. And paper takeout containers are a huge plus.

Warm and delicious snack, lunch, or dinner! Cozy and clean atmosphere with friendly service! Portion sizing is variable. Easy to try out some different filling options. Will definitely come back and highly recommend.

Something new and interesting for the Bridgeville area. Owners are super nice people and you can tell they care. My favorite was the Ham & Cheese and the Chicken flavors. Make sure to try all the side sauces as well! The Empanadas are about the size of your palm so you could try different ones in a single sitting.

I love this place! The owners are so nice and make some delicious food. I have a dairy allergy and they are very accommodating and will remind me every time I go in which ones I can eat! One time we got some extra fried dough pieces for free because it was leftover! If you go, and you should, ask about the dairy free and vegan options, because there are a few ! My favorites include the corn chowder, potato and pea, and bbq pork (dairy free!!) . The black bean is also good! My partner loves the ham and cheese too!

Do one thing and do it excellent. That must be the mantra of the Empanada Company. The service is excellent. The staff gave us a brief explanation of the menu and made some great suggestions. We opted for the baked empanadas instead of fried. We ordered the beef, chicken, bbq pork, potato and peas, sweet potato and black beans, and the corn empanadas. All we scratch made and all were delicious. Our favorites were the corn, potato and peas, and chicken. The sauces were also house made and good. They over wine, coffee, and bottled drinks.
I will stop here again the next time I’m in the area. Let me add the details of the pastry stamp and stickers so you can tell the difference in the empanadas was icing on the cake.
