What an incredible island of culinary delight in the cold, cold, meat filled spot kf Seattle! I’d come back to BI just for the Curry soup again and again. Flavorful and filled with faux meat Emmy’s has a plethora of choices to make you feel like you’re dining at a star restaurant. On a cold winter evening, when the sun has sunk, and you’re craving for warmth in the universe the curry soup is your salvation. No rest rooms. No heat. This is purely existence for the sake of eating the best there is.
If this place doesn’t make it to a Jiron Dreams of Suahi documentary or Chef’s Table I would be sad.

Pretty average food. Got the ginger chicken with rice and the potstickers (the photo looks like it’s steamed but it was actually deep fried and very doughy. Not good)

I have been visiting Emma’s Vege House since going vegan back in 2014. I have brought non-vegan friends, and everyone agrees. The food is fresh and delicious, always, and the staff is friendly. Worth a visit even if you aren’t vegan, but want something delicious and veggie forward.

Such a great experience! We got the sesame chicken and the noodle/rice combo that came with a delicious roll and kabobs that was truly amazing!! Very well cooked and seasoned. Even if you’re not vegan, you would enjoy this place. We felt so good after eating, no heaviness after. The owners were such kind individuals! I would 100% recommend 🙂

Wow AMAZING vegan food. Just so delicious and very well cooked. I was vegan for years and still enjoy vegan food every so often even though I’m not and from the 4 years I was vegan, this has been by far THE BESTTTT cooked protein I’ve ever had. It’s truly amazing. I got #21 the rice and noodle combo and it was perfect, it came with a golden roll and the kabob was delicious together with the veggies. The prices are great AND you get a lot of food! I had left overs for later and the owners are so so sweet and kind. A great place to support 🙂

We stopped by Emmy’s Vege House with high hopes, but unfortunately, we left a bit underwhelmed. While the presentation of the food looked great—colorful and neatly plated—the flavors didn’t quite live up to the visuals. The sauce on the tofu was runny and oddly textured, and the overall taste leaned heavily on salt rather than depth or seasoning. The veggies were fresh, but the dish just lacked the vibrant flavor we were expecting from a spot that focuses on plant-based meals.
That said, it’s not a bad place, and maybe we just didn’t order the right dishes. The outdoor seating was a nice touch. We might give it another try in the future, but this visit didn’t wow us.

Great spot to enjoy a vegan lunch on the island. Can be a little bit of a wait when it’s busy, since there was just one person doing it all, but the food was worth it and the outdoor atmosphere is such a nice relaxing environment that it actually feels nice to have a place where you can sit down and enjoy the time together and not just feel like you’re in a rush to eat lunch. HIGHLY recommended the kabobs, but everything else was great and the owner was so sweet.
