My friends and I decided to come here for a late evening dinner. We came from Maryland and took the metro which put us in a convenient walking distance.
The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere has a lot of open space. We were seated quickly by the hostess on arrival and she helped us with any questions. Their menu has a lot of good options between pizza, appetizers, sandwiches, and even the cocktails looked so creative.
We were desperate to try some good Detroit style pizza and they absolutely delivered!!! We also ordered the Bulgogi fries and their cheesey bread sticks. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our waitress ( I forgot her name unfortunately 🙁 ) was accommodating. It seemed like there were maybe only 2 waitresses that night but she was absolutely great and helpful with our questions. It’s on the pricier side (it’s D.C what can anyone expect lol) but I think with the quality of food that we got, it was really worth it. I really, really enjoyed their pizza and so did my friends and I think we’ll surely come back. This place is a must go-to.

I entered the restaurant and O was greeted and seated immediately. The hostess directed me to the perfect table. I had the house salad with fried chicken and the house dressing. OUTSTANDING. I also had the Meatsiah pizza, 10 out of 10. Waitress was very attentive, but not overly so. Staff was nice also. Everything was good today.

Great place for lunch. They provided room for a large party that decided that day to head out of the office early. The drinks and food were very good, service is excellent. We especially loved the chicken wings. Will come again.

I went there for my Birthday during a non busy time for was me and a hand full of people in the place. Seems like it would be busier in later hours. I ordered the seasonal food items the Meatiash and the watermelon burrata salad. They were both good for the most part the items had different spin on them then normal being a meat lovers pizza and watermelon salad. I wouldn’t order either one again but they were good for what they were. If I had a group of people I would probably go back there but by put by myself I would just order a pizza and carry out. Compared to Red light Pizza that I had a while back this is something this is the place you can go to with friends more so than eat a whole of Detroit Pizza by yourself

Had an impromptu dinner out with the family and stopped at Emmy’s. It was our first time here but had drive past many times. We were greeted immediately after entering. We sat down and were told about the special by a very kind hostess/waitress/bartender named Paris. She gave us great recommendations and even talked my husband out of purchasing an item he certainly wouldn’t have liked. The food was quick and delicious. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Paris for a great experience!

The high rating holds true. My friend and I stopped in for a late bite. I was past hungry, and I didn’t want to have to think about what to order, so I asked the server what they liked. They suggested the colony pizza. Placed the order for regular (6 slices) and for the roasted cauliflower. Food came out timely and tasty. It has me excited to come back and try the rest of the menu.

However, April, the restaurant manager invited us back, and we were absolutely blown away by the phenomenal service. Jamila, the assistant manager, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was exceptional. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor made all the difference.
Expecting sample sizes, we were pleasantly surprised when we received full portions of various pizzas, mozzarella sticks, and more. Each dish was delicious, and the generous servings were a delightful treat. The service was truly 10/10, making our return visit unforgettable. Me and my wife went to eat here on new year’s eve and Joshua was here serving tables all alone. Joshua gave us excellent service and always kept a smile while being busy. Thanks for being the goat. food was fire too

It’s exactly what you’d expect from Emmy squared. Everything is consistent in flavor and texture and comes out as you’re used too.
We did a pepperoni and mushroom and their signature honey, pepperoni and Calabrian chili pizzas this time with an order of wings.
Always a great choice for delivery or dine in if you want Detroit style pizza in dc. Both locations are great. I get my hair cut near this one so I stop in because it’s quick and easy.
