Hands down the best breakfast taco I have ever had. I was in bliss while eating it, and the lady at the front was super sweet in helping me decide what I wanted to get. Very hard convincing myself not to get another one. I will for sure be back.

I had the veggie tacos at Emma’s Kitchen and they were absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. I told Emma how great the food was, and she smiled and said, “When the food is made fresh and with love, those are the only ingredients you need.” That really says it all. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for food that’s both tasty and made with heart!

Wonderful restaurant & they were open before 7AM! The woman at the counter was super helpful and recommended the tacos since it was my first time trying mexican food. The recommendation was spot on—they were perfect for my Indian palate. I have been here multiple times

Hello!
I tried the breakfast burrito at Emma’s Kitchen and it was absolutely delicious. It’s a little on the pricey side, but the flavors were incredible and totally worth it — especially to support a local spot instead of a franchise.
I’m Mexican and know good Mexican food when I taste it, and this genuinely felt like home. The seasoning, the balance of flavors, everything was on point.
I’ll definitely be back to try other plates on the menu!

To be honest the 1 & 2 star reviews had to be one offs because this is food is TOO good, I love the atmosphere and everyone did a good job making us feel at home. Literally cannot wait to come back. They have a 2 taco special. Please try the Chorizo, Egg, and Papa taco & the Steak and egg. Their food and serve is amazing, I wish I could give EIGHT (8) stars!!!!

Visiting from DFW and wanted to find a good hole in the wall spot with amazing food. I FOUND IT!
The churros were so soft inside, and crispy on the outside, I can’t imagine finding a better one anywhere else.
The iced lattes are so delicious I had to stop myself from chugging it.
the breakfast here is top tier, my husband and I have gone 2 days in a row now. Plan to go again tomorrow before going back to DFW. We got breakfast tacos, a barbacoa breakfast burrito, and a barbacoa n cheese papusa!
Everything was so delicious and fresh that it has set a new standard for breakfast food spots when I return to DFW.
I will be convincing my husband to drive me 4 hours back to Houston to have this food and iced lattes

The chicken tacos were good. The carnitas and pastor were good too. Not the best I’ve had but pretty decent. The price was great and they also have fresh juices

Excellent friendly service the food was delicious I highly recommend the Birria tacos, I had tried them in other places and they always get too much cheese or too greasy or they don’t have the right flavor but this one’s have the perfect amount of cheese you can taste the cheese the meat it was delicious in the word three excuse me and what didn’t make it to the picture cuz that’s how delicious they were. I’m not from Houston I was traveling for a special event but definitely next time we come back to Houston we most likely going to go over there to the location cuz they’re super good, thank you so much for the friendly service.

Quick Review – Excellent food with friendly service. Prices are overall reasonable but a bit higher than places outside downtown.

Food – I haven’t had an item here yet that wasn’t delicious. From pupusas and empanadas to taco so far every time I eat here it is delicious and filling. The breakfast items are excellent and the lunch menu even better.

Service – Friendly and courteous service. The owner puts an amazing old school service into everything. Staff is as awesome as the food is good.

Atmosphere – there are three wall murals and a number of oil paintings done in a Latin style. The place is richly decorated and has a homey unique vibe to it.

Final thoughts- excellent Mexican food, decent prices, friendly staff, and s.iling people with full bellies. Definitely recommend as a repeat customer. 🙂

I don’t mine paying what’s right for the food but 12.99 for a burrito, that is almost the same size as a new born baby’s bottle is ridiculous. Then to open it up and still have raw egg coming out of it. Is nasty. My first time there no good
