This place has a history. The FUBAR ironically named a place to honor vets was a old gambling place in the 30’s and a speak easy the lady owner (never caught her name) took the time to explain to me how they found a stair case and old shoes and bottles in the basement she said it’s been around since 1870’s in the back the front newer and they had to take out a wall for the bar. Very good ice cream got the cherry bordo shake. I especially love the fact that they are friendly dog friendly.

Nestled along Main Street in Sturgis, you will find Emma’s Ice Cream Emporium. A fun ice cream bench greets you to the right upon entering in through glass doors and stepping on light wooden floors. The metal tables and chairs pop out, as they are turquoise in color. From ice cream, to a cotton candy candy wall, to cookies, to cheesecake, to build your own sandwiches and salads, this spot hopefully pleases everyone. Napkins adorn the tables and outside seating available, even on a cool October day. And if you are looking for a craft beer, you can stroll past the ice cream and on into Whiskey Tango Fox Trot. I can see parking being a challenge during busier times, but you might find a apot right in front. Friendly staff and tasty ice cream flavors, to suit the whole family!

Amazing husband and wife, veteran owned. Ice cream in the front, bar in the back. Had a great conversation with one of the owners. He was super nice and the ice cream was amazing! Lots of other things to choose from as well. They even make sandwiches and salads! Should check it out if you have the chance.

While strolling down Main Street in Sturgis, SD, I came across this odd combination is beer and ice cream called Emma’s Ice Cream Emporium and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Tap Room. The place was spacious and inviting with a good variety of ice cream. Having had Huckleberry ice cream in Jackson, WY, I thought I try it here in South Dakota. I was not disappointed. The ice cream was creamy and had a great flavor. The staff was helpful and attentive. I didn’t try the tap room however. For I cool yeast , I recommend Emma’s!

There’s a sweet retreat for bikers in Sturgis, South Dakota to hang out in between burn out competitions and bar brawls. Emma’s Ice Cream Emporium is famous for their Monster Shake, which is something like you’d expect at an over the top place in Las Vegas.
A Monster Shake is topped with cheesecake brownies, donuts, chocolate covered cherries, whipped cream and sprinkles.
You either have to share it or die from a heart attack before you make it back to your two wheel freedom machine.
If you’re lucky enough to stop in here… you’ll have to see what THC drinks or TikTok famous snacks on the wall you want to try later.

This is the coolest little place. They have great ice cream and malts. They also offer baked goodies and sandwiches, I didn’t partake in those. My Milkshake made with Cinnamon ice cream and Huckleberry ice cream was amazing. They have novelty items and a great selection of different things. Definitely worth checking out!! Really friendly staff! Definitely will go back for an ice cream fix when I’m in Sturgis again!

Great food, Ice cream and friendly staff.
Usually during busy times customer service workers can get snappy and just want to push people along with sloppy service.
It was fairly packed when I visited, but the two gals workin were cool, calm and collected. Dispute being the 1000000th costumer they probably saw, I felt really welcomed. My cobb sandwich was worth the wait, I forgot to take a picture but they look like Scooby Doo, piled nice and high. portions are great for the price.

Ice cream was amazing! The first day I went there was two staff member arguing behind the counter in front of the guest. We then went a second time and one of the teeners were working and they were so friendly.
