My family and I love this place. There are so many delicious dishes to choose from. It is a favorite of my kids’ to go to when they want to go someplace special to eat. The weight is never too long for your food and the staff works hard.

This was close to a site visit and was suggested to the group. We ended up walking to the location. There is plenty of seating indoor and some limited outdoor seating. You place your order and pay, then they bring the food to your table.
They had a very wide selection of food options. I had the Capris Panini and homemade chips. Everyones food at our table was good. The food came out hot and was tasty.
There is lots of parking in front of the restaurant. It is also easily accessible from the road.

I love Emma’s! This place is always jam packed. Why? Because the food and service are top notch! Their baked goods are always fresh and reasonably priced! Our favorites are the Jerusalem Wheat Bagels and Challah bread.
I’ve renamed it “God’s Personal Oven.”

Has a large menu selection.
They make a great tuna melt, I personally like it open in 2 that ads a few more dollars, but you get double the tuna and cheese.
I don’t recommend their israeli salad it’s bland and not tasty, so always ask for the chips.
Price point in general I find it high, but I guess Chicago is more expensive than NY.

Ordered one grilled cheese that came with potato chips on the side. Fully burnt grilled cheese that was black on both sides. Never again, they discriminated against the only Muslim woman who wore the hijab in this place. -2/5 stars if possible. Do not recommend AT ALL

It’s been a few years since I came here but I’m happy I did. I have fond memories of coming here when they were still called Bagel Country. The food is just as excellent as I remember and the portion sizes are great. The restaurant was decently busy but the service was still very quick. Definitely recommend!

The food you get for the price you pay is actually insulting. I ordered a salmon Caesar wrap that cost $27 my bad for not looking at the price before ordering but most wraps are at most $15… but okay I was like well slay I’m about to have the best biggest wrap of my entire life WRONG I was served a wrap the size of my finger that had maybe 10 strands of lettuce that was drizzled with dressing and the salmon that was the oilest, foulest tasing salmon I have ever eaten.
I would have happily paid that price for a wrap that was wrap size and at least made with some effort. Tip to the cooks- mix your ingredients for the wrap together and then put it in and no need to cook your salmon in that much oil, it’s a fatty fish already.

I’ve picked up orders here several times because my daughter likes chocolate chip pancakes, and Emma’s is just around the corner, but I honestly hate coming here.
This review is based on today’s order, but the overall experience has been exactly the same every time I’ve been here, unfortunately…
Today, we ordered online at 1pm. We asked for 3 orders of pancakes, that’s it. The email said the order would be ready at 1:30. Got there at 1:25, we were never greeted or acknowledged by anyone (this isn’t the first time, it’s always that way).
I went to the coffee counter and stood there at least 5 minutes before someone came by, and I asked about our order. I was totally ignored. Waited for another person. I asked about my order, she said they were working on it.
We stood around, watching them cooking and they didn’t even start preparing our order until 1:40. I understand they were busy, but the unfriendly attitudes and complete lack of proper customer service etiquette is wild.
I’ll find somewhere else to order from next time. This is the only place I’ve ever consistently felt unwelcome and not valued as a customer.
Btw, the pancakes were just okay, definitely not worth waiting 45 minutes for.

Basically the only kosher sit down breakfast place in Chicago. Don’t expect NY bagels, we don’t have that NY water here, but do expect friendly service, fresh food and a great spot for both families and business conversations.

Well it’s been quite awhile since I’ve been to Emma’s deli. Wanted to support them. Usually I would go to Manny’s since they’re the best but there’s a place up here in Skokie that caters to Jewish deli as well. I had a craving for a lox omelette hash browns which I forgot to note on my photograph with sesame seed bagel which is traditional in Jewish deli and cream cheese next to the soup of the day which is vegetable soup this is an early lunch so had a craving for these and finally for the second time had a bucket list to do this. I’m glad indoor dining is available and I hope people will try this place out to during lunch time remember they are closed I think Friday and Saturday during the Sabbath and with the pandemic I don’t know if it’s even more complicated but so far they’re operating
