Absolutely fantastic food here. Traditional Italian food cooked correctly and served in a lovely setting by very attentive staff.

Had it for dinner then lunch immediately the next day so I could try a different dish. This place had come highly recommended both online and by a colleague who is a Rome veteran.

They are not wrong.

The tomatoes in the bruschetta were so red and juicy, compared to what I get delivered in the UK by one of the big supermarket giants.

Go here and enjoy a lovely meal at a very reasonable cost.

This was truly the best dining experience we had in Rome! Everything about this place is amazing from the warm service to the beautiful atmosphere!
The food is simply incredible! I can still remember the taste of their homemade Cacio e Pepe, it was perfection I also love their ‘bio’ philosophy, it’s clear they care deeply about both the client and the planet
A special shout-out to their sourdough bread with nuts! It was outstanding and unique; we haven’t seen anything like it in any other Roman restaurant. If you are looking for high-quality ingredients and a thoughtful approach to Italian cuisine, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

We didn’t have a reservation but were seated immediately. Excellent food – we had a prosciutto pizza and a pasta with fish roe (cannot remember the name), as well as tiramisu espresso (absolutely yummy) and a risotto cheese ball. Perhaps more importantly after our dismal experience as Asians at another restaurant, the service was great. The staff were friendly and attentive. It made me so much happier at the end of a day where I experienced unfriendly service at other restaurants and stores.

Emma Pizzeria in Rome offers a superb dining experience with authentic Italian flavors. Their thin-crust pizzas are crisp and generously topped, while the tagliatelle Bolognese is rich and comforting. Desserts like tiramisu are beautifully presented and delicious.

The ambiance is warm and stylish, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Located in the historic Jewish Quarter, Emma combines tradition with modern charm. A must-visit for anyone seeking quality food, great service, and a true taste of Rome.

The pizza lived up to our expectations after reading so many positive reviews. The tiramasu was the best we had while in Italy. Their outdoor seating was so cute and peaceful. We got there 10 minutes before they opened and stood in line (without a reservation) and were seated and served promptly, though it certainly seemed like they would prefer reservations are made. But, if you decide to visit last minute as we did, it is worth seeing if you can get a table!

Fantastic Roman style pizza. It’s thin crust, but not because they’re bad at making Neapolitan style and it ended up that way – it’s deliberate, and delicious. The outer crust has a nice crunch, while the inner crust has a bit of chew.

The ingredients are fresh and sourced from local producers. Every ingredient, even the flour, lists where it came from (not just the region, but the actual producer). If you sit outside, be sure to check out the interior. It’s like a mini art museum with pieces by Lichtenstein, Haring, and others.

We also had the fried zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella, which were delicious. Nice beer selection as well, include a gluten free beer that my wife enjoyed.

Service was excellent.

We ended up dining at Emma after finding most nearby restaurants fully booked for a Sunday lunch last September. The experience was pleasant overall, though not memorable.

Pros:
> Food was okay
> Waiting time for the food was not long
> Nice and spacious inside and outside – also has a lot of seating
> Staff are professional and friendly

Cons:
> With a few improvements on the food, it could truly stand out.
> It took a while for our bill to come.

The best experience – the people are just fantastic, they gave us amazing recommendations for pizza and all were out of this world! The products are from all over Italy, all combined to provide you with an explosion of flavors and leave you amazed! Thank you for the great dinner, we are coming here every time we are in Rome, just perfect!

Emma Pizzeria in Rome — apparently the place everyone raves about, and for once, the internet wasn’t lying.

We ordered the white pizza with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto, and honestly, I’m still thinking about it like it’s an ex that got away. The crust was so perfect it deserves its own Vatican exhibit. The margherita with salami? Equally amazing — I’d fight a small child for the last slice.

Then came the tiramisu. I told myself I was full. The tiramisu told me I was a liar.

If you’re in Rome and don’t eat at Emma, just go ahead and tell people you don’t like joy.

Good pizza, well made and reliable. Busy place but the food holds up. I’d go back without thinking too much.
