Emily’s Hearth is a true hidden gem. The wood-fired pizzas are incredible—perfectly blistered crust, fresh ingredients, and bold flavor combinations that really stand out. We also grabbed some of the take-home bread, and it was just as amazing. You can tell everything here is made with care.

Emily herself is warm, personal, and genuinely welcoming. She creates the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. The whole place has a fun, cozy vibe, and it’s perfect for families too.

They accept credit cards (always a plus!) and are conveniently open Fridays and Saturdays—ideal for a weekend treat. If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t miss this place. Outstanding food, friendly people, and flavors you’ll be thinking about long after you leave.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening, excited to try a new vegan/plant-based pizza spot. We were not disappointed! The pistachio pear pizza was beyond amazing—its flavor profile was truly unique and delicious. My husband ordered the marinara with roasted garlic and basil spinach, which was simple yet incredibly satisfying and flavorful.

Emily, the owner, was very warm and inviting. She shared the story behind her business and what inspired her to open it, which I found very touching. She provided exceptional customer service, and her staff was knowledgeable about vegan and plant-based ingredients, offering great recommendations.

The restaurant also serves non-vegan pizzas made with fresh, hand-pulled mozzarella and baked in a wood-fired oven using slow-fermented dough. The space has a charming diner vibe, making it welcoming for everyone.

Unique and fun retro vibe but the pizza unfortunately missed the mark! The pistachio was unevenly cut, not cut all the way and didn’t quite match the description. The carrot had great flavor but it was watery and a slightly underdone. Would be nice if they offered plates. (I used a napkin as a plate)
It was very quiet inside—which is sometimes nice—though from my booth I could hear someone doing their business in the restroom which was pretty off putting.
The staff was great! Really sweet. And their menu is super creative. Maybe I went on an off day.
I would happily give it another try at the farmers market because I truly feel this place has potential!!!

I was enticed off route 23 with the cool vibes of this new restaurant and it did not disappoint .The pizza is literally some of the best I have ever tasted!
The dough is specially prepared to enhance digestion and its just fantastic
Grace was the face of the franchise and took my order and ensured everything was seamless.
They prepare many unique pizzas like beet and carrot as well as a strawberry pie.They also have the old favorites like cheese and margherita if you aren’t feeling adventurous.
The beet pie and strawberry pie were equally dazzling and the meat pie was delicious
They are only open Friday and Saturday so stop in and support this great business.

This is such a special unique place and vibe. I’m not a big pizza lover and Emily’s pizza converts me! Her pizza is so delicious and I love the different toppings that she finds locally grown in the county. The quality ingredients makes such a difference and I wish more places did this, especially since we are in a very farm and nature county.
The live music, lighting and colors of her space also makes such a welcoming and unique experience. Has such a community and artist vibe. We need more local owned businesses like these in our county. Pizza Hut is everywhere and doesn’t have quality ingredients. We don’t need more big franchises but local owned businesses that supports community and gives kids and families a place to bond with quality food and live music. It’s such a beautiful space and amazing food. I highly recommend!

Had a delicious green ceaser salad, pepperoni pie, and mushroom pie. The pies were done to perfection. Everything from the sourdough pizza dough to the added layer of flavor that comes from the wood fire oven was 100 starz. The pizza had a great crust and a wonderful under carry with no flop. Its nice to have a place like this around the north jersey area.

Such a vibe here! Amazing pizza with bold and unique options. We had the squash pizza and the anchovy pizza. The salad we had was outstanding. They are happy to speak with you about their process and clearly enjoy what they do. Great music playing, people chatting and laughing. Top down, great place! Can’t wait to come back- good luck deciding on a pizza – they’re all great options!

My wife and I have been buying their bread and pizza from the sparta farmers market for years and it’s amazing. The new place has such a cool Brooklyn vibe with the pizza and bread quality to match the borough. Such unique, high quality fresh pizza. Truly lucky to have this gem here is Sussex County.
