This is my first ever review at any restaurant and it’s because this restaurant had everything GREAT to offer. Great food, great servers, great owner just all around great. Every year our family gets together to celebrate my mother’s birthday. This year was her 97th birthday. We’ve been to many restaurants to celebrate but this year we booked Emilio’s (Hemet) and did not have one complaint. Christian (the owner) even came out personally to greet my mother. Such a great person. We had a great experience here and if you are debating on coming here to try it out. Just come! You won’t regret it. I hope they get all the business they truly deserve. Thank you Christian and team for your patience and great service we will be back!

No stars for Manger Daphne !!
So I went to middle & high school with the owners son and never gotten treated to rudely until tonight…. My family supports this family owned restaurant , my Grandma loves this restaurant and would always have her bday party here.
Daphne who claims she is the manager, has me wait 13-15 mins extra for the desert brownie that I added to my pick up order. When I finally walk up to the register to ask why has it been 12 minutes she then quickly reply’s “oh your waiting for your brownie right I had put it in” when really she didn’t alert the cooks to make the item I had added when I paid for my pick up order. And then when I get home my soup and drink is missing from my order. I call the restaurant to state I had my items missing and Daphne answers and I ask to speak to the manager and she responds that she is the manager and that I could go back for my missing items or when I visit again I can get a free desert and the missing items from my order for free on the next visit. I think as a manager her work ethic is very poor. I honestly feel like she isn’t a manger as well because of how rudely my pick up visit was. I suggest manager need to act more polite and on a professional level. I will not be coming here and will tell my family and friends as well.. thank you Daphne for a horrible dinner that didn’t satisfy a loyal customer

Emilio’s Mexican Restaurant is a fantastic spot for authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine! Their burritos, tacos, and street tacos are packed with perfectly cooked, high-quality meat that makes every bite delicious. The margaritas are refreshing and flavorful, and the chips and salsa are a great start to the meal. The entire menu is a win—there’s truly no bad dish here, as everything is cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a great dining experience. With plenty of parking and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s definitely a go-to place for amazing Mexican food!

Ok so this was our second time here! The first time we were here was fir the brunch… we did get there kind of late but they still had plenty of food. I thought the food was ok, but I said we would have to come again for their regular dinner and today was that day! The decor and feel of the place I love… the service was good…. but when it comes to the food, I was very disappointed! We ordered the Jalapeño Poppers (big fan of them) but these were ridiculous! It wasn’t even a whole jalapeño and the cream cheese as well very little in them! A disappointment! I do however love their chips and salsa!!! That was the only reason why I said to give it another try! I ordered the chicken enchiladas one mole and one green…but before that came a soup ( I ordered the albondigas) what a major major disappointment! Nothing like real albondigas! They lacked flavor and the meat balls I truly don’t know what they were thinking! Albondigas are supposed to be full of flavor, you can smell them and these I just don’t know. So I went back to the chips and salsa. When our plates got to the table, the presentation I must say were very nice and appealing but the taste was missing. The chicken was extremely salty, the Chile verde lacked the flavor of the tomatillo and the taste of Chile verde! The burrito was just as bad! I really want to like this place but for a second chance they didn’t cut the deal. I did hear someone say that they’ve only gotten the Chile relleno’s so I think the third time will be a charm. I will go back again just because I enjoyed the chips n salsa very much and I will try their chile rellenos… just being honest and hoping those will win me over!

So, I came across this place on a work trip. I didn’t seek it out, I didn’t do that much research and I didn’t expect it to be this good.

Just figured that the place with the most positive reviews in town would be good, but the real hit came from the absolutely packed parking lot at like 1pm on a random Wednesday.

Since that first time I went there I’ve made an absolute point to go there every single time I’m even remotely in the area.

If you’re looking for a good place to eat in the area then this is it.

Personally I order shredded beef anythings (preferably wet burritos) and load up on the salsas (both house and spicy house) and eat as much of whatever I get as possible.

I don’t work up there as much anymore, or even at all that much recently, but if I’m within 30-45 minutes of the restaurant you bet I’m taking a hard detour.

A new experience for me
I’ve never had mexican food without red sauce. My enchilada and tamale had brown gravey all over it and it tasted burnt. I asked for a to-go box since I was not paying for it. It’s very very nice atmosphere nice lunch crowd. Some were regulars with nice relationship with the waitresses.

Celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary there about 4yrs ago and loved the food and service! Recently went back to grab a quick bite, and food is just as delicious as I remember it and service was good. Prices are awesome and they give you huge servings, you could share a meal with someone, the food is too quality! I highly, highly, recommend Emilio’s Restaurant!

Amazing food and amazing atmosphere! They have a live band on some nights. Hot and fresh salsa and chips as you wait for your food which never takes long. Burrito especial is my go to with chicken instead of pork chili verde which is what it originally comes with. Give this place a try it does not disappoint!
