As soon as you walk in, you are hit by the delicious smell of fresh baked goods. Whether you like plain bread rolls, jalapeño/cream cheese stuffed bread rolls, coconut macaroons, or empanadas, or some other wonderful treat, come try this bakery out! The staff welcome you when you walk in and if you don’t know what you are you doing (like me, lol) they are very nice and helpful. I have this place saved as my new favorite for when I have to come foe my many medical appointments. Come early, some goodies sell out faster, and always try something new! I always find a new favorite, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Sweet, friendly panadería with lots of options. Ask for the fresh-made conchas and what is new for today (jalapeno chorizo pastry – yum!). Also bought a little custard topped cake from the case that everyone fought over when I got back to the hotel. So good!
FYI the entrance doesn’t face the street so trust the geolocation.

I had a pleasant conversation with the owner when we had an unexpected encounter away from his bakery. It sounds like he’s very proud of his business. I hope to visit and try his ham and cheese sandwich if I ever find myself in Salem, OR.

If you’re looking for conchas there isn’t a better place to get them in the Salem area. Anything else though be careful. The last few times I wanted some empanada, but they were less than fresh… Very moldy!

I don’t know if it is nostalgia or not, but these guys used to have the best bolillos in town. Yesterday at 9am I stopped in to pick up an order for my family, 8 bolillos of different varieties, when the young man running the counter rang me up, it totalled out to $32. That’s $4 per Bolillo, which is more than I’ve been charged in the past, and elsewhere. I paid the bill and took them home to my family only to find that these bolillos were stale, at the very least 1 day old, they certainly had not been baked that morning. Suffice it to say, I do not recommend buying bread here. There are other panederias en nuestro ciudad that are willing to put in the work to make sure you are getting the freshness that is expected from these mom and pop bakeries, and at a better price too.

I did not take any pics but I can honestly say I’ve had way better “fresh” pan dulce. There was lots of pan, etc but it didn’t taste or feel fresh.

Love this bakery! The couple that own it are so sweet. Their pastries are always fresh and full of flavor! The best conchas hands down.

This is the spot to get fresh Mexican breads, pastries, cookies, made daily and at an excellent price! There is an endless amount to go around. I’ve yet to try their cakes but will soon. The customer service is very welcoming, my son was even complimented on ” how beautiful he was”. Love this Mexican bakery. It looks like they provide pastries for other local shops, or restraunts, bulk orders possibly.
