Emilio’s is a must visit place for those looking to dine on seasonal, creative and delicious Italian dishes in a most charming setting. We had Lamb chop lollipops (!), coho salmon and truffle pasta. I also like the way they serve wine in quartino portions as well as by the glass. Our waiter was a pro, knew the menu in great detail and parking is plentiful.

My husband and I came to Emilio’s for the first time tonight for dinner, it was our first time but certainly won’t be our last. We talked the whole car ride home after dinner about how good the food was, how funny our waiter was, how it was so nice to see the owner and chef walking around saying hello to everyone. One of the best meals we have eaten in a long time. The kind of restaurant that leaves a lasting impression and you go once and keep going back.

This was for a special birthday dinner and it could not have been more terrific. The food is wonderful and the service fantastic. We didn’t order it, but loved watching the table side preparation of the whole branzino for other people. Can’t wait to go back.

I had a clam & mussel dish for appetizer, swordfish with tomato over penne for main course and chocolate gelato for dessert. All dishes were excellent.

Excellent food! They will make you whatever you want. The ravioli with walnut cream sauce is amazing. The polenta is one of the best I’ve had. Great service too.

The food was decent, but did anyone else get the vibe that the owner was racist? He was helping out most tables besides ours when it was crowded and my step-mom + step-sister (both poc) were with me and my father. He was supposedly rude to my step-sister who showed up early to the reservation and kept giving weird looks to our table. We were the first people in the restaurant and he didn’t even greet us an owner but was running over to just about every other table, even when it was crowded.

Emilio’s is the best Italian restaurant in the area, if not the state. You enter it and you feel like family. The staff is top notch and are always here to guide you towards deliciousness. Like every good place, their menu changes with the seasons and it’s always delicious and made with love. This autumn I highly recommend the amazing cacio Pepe and the veal. Looking forward to my next meal there!

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. The food is exception. Very consistent and super fresh ingredients! Everything from the fresh pasta to the fish dishes – and don’t forget the amazing desserts and gelato ! This is a must try local place in Harrison that has been in business for over 40 !

This last Saturday night we gave Emilio Ristorante a try. It was our first and definitely out last time visiting. The outside, as well as the inside is beautiful and had that old world Italian flair without being too cliche. Also, there is ample parking which, in Harrison, is important. Regarding the wait staff and the owner, they are on point. Wait staff is attentive and personable and makes you feel at ease. They are also knowledgeable, particularly Marco, who was our waiter. The owner is a lovely person checking in frequently to assure that things were going well. Unfortunately, the food, what there is of it, is not the best. In this rising economy, going out to eat can be a luxury for some and the food should meet the standards. Two people in our party ordered one of the appetizer specials which was fried zucchini flowers. These should have been a delicate appetizer, but were heavy and laden with oil. Only two flowers were given and then two medallions of zucchini. Heavy, heavy, heavy! The ravioli stuffed with butternut squash was over spiced and heavy going down. Another person ordered fruta de mera, a seafood medley containing about 2 shrimp, a tiny piece of monk fish, and about 4 tiny clams. Honestly, enough to feed a toddler. We treated ourselves to dessert as some were still hungry. It was decided that we would try these tiny puff donuts filled with vanilla cream and topped with vanilla ice cream. Big mistake! Heavy one again with no light or airiness that usually exhibits a good zeppole. I’m sorry and it pains me to say this as everyone was so nice but save your money for another establishment.
