Extraordinary experience at Embers Steakhouse. The service was wonderful, the food delicious (especially the red trout—see photo), plated beautifully I might add, and the wine list was good. We enjoyed a Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir from Oregon and a bottle of Merry Edward’s “Georganne” Pinot from California. Accommodating for larger parties as well as a couples date night.

Our service was awesome. The atmosphere here is great for a special dinner with your wife or a nice dinner with mom.
The food was quick, hot and delicious. The high-end feeling is perfect with silverware and
spectacular views of the sunset and the basin.. The menu and wine selection were great. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for food or fun. Kids might not enjoy as much.

I took my lady there on sunday evening for our anniversary dinner and belated valentines dinner. The hostess finally came to the front after we had been standing their for close to ten minutes. I told the hostess that we had a reservation for 6:30 ans we were right on time when we walked in. Then we stood their ans waited to be helped. Then she coldly told us it would be a few minutes. We sat down to the right on these little cushion things and we waited there almost 20 minutes. She never left the front. She stood there wrote something on a pad and waited on four other couples that came in after about 10 minutes. Then she said, follow me and walked us over to this tiny table. I asked if we could please have something else because I’m six 6’3.5” tall and 272 pounds and a bigger table would be much better and she got mad, slammed the menus down on the counter and told us to wait right there. They had several other table empty and ready for pople to sit down at. Then she went over to her desk. We walked back over to the front desk. She looked at something came back around and got the menus and then walked back around to us and said, follow me and went and sat us at a bigger table. This treatment of us or anybody else spending that kind of money fir food and a “dine dinning” restaurant is inexcusable. Then we sat there waiting and waiting for somebody to come wait on us. They finally waited on us ans we ordered. We got our appetizer pretty quick, but it took forever to get our food. When the food came out, my lady’s prime rib was small. That’s a $45 plate. I ordered the steakhouse burger. I ordered a medium well and talk to the young lady about it being pink in the middle. When it came out that burger was burnt with one piece of bacon on it and a tiny patty. My steak fries were overcooked and tiny but by that time I was just pissed and wanted to leave. Sad thing is that our dinner after a little bit of a tip was $95 and we got treated that way and got terrible food absolutely terrible food. I would not recommend this place. We go there quite a bit and this last time is the worst experience we’ve ever had and I don’t know if we’ll ever go back there again definitely ruined our anniversary and belated Valentine’s dinner anyway I do not recommend this place to anyone. It is way overpriced for the food you get. I don’t mind paying more for food as long as the food is good but when it’s bad, it’ll really piss me off and it did piss me off and a waste if money. And to have somebody treat us that rudely it’s just unacceptable.

I’ll start with the overall review OUTSTANDING!!!
Writing a food review is really easy, you overlook all the details and effort it takes to make and serve food, I understand how frustrating it can be to not get what was expected so getting at the place with a low review makes sense to many, but why not write one when your experience was exceptional, one of those gem times where you wished you could give more stars.
Here is mine about last night; It was a busy night as it was for being Valentines, and a 8:30 reservation, our expectations were very neutral, not high not low, from arrival, a bit chaotic, but were greeted and directed politely, our wait was not long at all, and received very friendly attention from the manager and staff, when seated our waiter was absolutely delightful, I mean it, knowing how busy they were not once did he not smiled or checked on us, or the waiters that supported him, everyone did an outstanding job, now to the fun part the food; Exactly what we asked for, not what we were expecting, I mean wow, Chef Richard, is running that kitchen impeccably, the meat temperature, flavor, the sides were fresh, done to perfection, the wait time surprisingly short.
I need to add we had the dessert and I never get desserts I’m not a sweet person, yea I’m going back for ALL OF IT, another OMG the notes of amaranth were so pleasant, the aromas were just perfection it all made sense perfectly balanced.
We loved our experience, compliments to the awesome chef and his amazing crew, and to Embers management and staff WE ARE DEFINITELY GOING BACK.

We attended with friends before a concert. It was very busy and we were glad our friends made reservations. The food was amazing. Great cocktails and wine. Our service was great too. Our orders included steak, trout and 2 if us ordered the fresh seafood combination special. 1 in our party said the trout was the best she’d ever had. Nice wine list. Martinis and old fashioneds were very good

Amazing dinner. We enjoyed the calamari, crab cakes and spinach dip to start. The smore old fashion and caviar pomegranate vodka drink specials were delicious. Wedge and Cesar salads were tasty. Filet was cooked to perfection and the prime rib with dungenous crab was fabulous. Our server Kayla was absolutely on point!

I had a delightful dining experience at Embers Steakhouse. The perfectly cooked medium rare steak was a highlight, and the wedge salad with Roquefort dressing was amazing. The Brussels sprouts are a must-try. While the service was a bit slow, the location and atmosphere offered a great luxury feel without the pretense. The only downsides were the underwhelming bread basket. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

The food was delicious. Each course was presented beautifully and with exquisitez flavor.. Vic gave oustanding service and recommendations.. Chef Richard took time out of the kitchen to see how our metal was. Great food and staff. A must do while visiting Isleta.

Best Chilean Sea Bass in the area! Overcooked a steak in our party, but made a new one for us. Not sure if the server forgot our drinks, but said the order never made it through. Good time overall.

My wife and I visited again last night to celebrate our anniversary. Read some reviews that were less than favorable, but again we had a great dinner! Service was good, food exceptional as always! Sea Bass and scallops, mmmm……
