Came here on a double date and we had the best time. Our waitress was truly one of the best that I have ever had. She really made the experience. We sat outside with our dog and it was the best of both worlds to be outside but still feel like you are in the vibe with the beautiful brick building. We really enjoyed the espresso martini and the bread with dipping oil. I got the gnocchi, which was amazing. My partner had the marinated tips with Brussels and mashed potatoes. Plenty of parking either across the way in a paid lot and next door parking garage. The inside was super cute and we look forward to sitting in there this weekend.

They were out of the most exciting things on the menu (to me), the Pork Belly and Wings but the staff was fantastic, attentive and friendly but not obtrusivley so. We sat downstairs, which had a lovely atmosphere. There are high ceilings, history on the walls and an open dining area. There was enough space between the tables for privacy and easy mobility throughout. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. All in all I would repeat the experience and would recommend it. The steak tips were succulent and delicious.

Menu had some awesome options and generally flavorful. Specials great. Might want to season a tad more but very good. However party of 8 was a challenge for kitchen. My filet while properly cooked and well seasoned was lukewarm and lobster/crab risotto outright cold. Others varried based on when they fired entrée. Didn’t send back lest it be overcooked. But as a result it was less desired than I’d have liked. We all enjoyed food for the family post xmas dinner and they did have a good selection of gf and vegan which in our croud was needed. Given the name, I would suggest that you have smoked drinks :-> would be a step up on drinks without huge effort – Ember smoked old fashioned would be a hit.

Excellent service, probably the most attentive waitress without being intrusive. She definitely has a knack to “read the table” and adjust the level of interaction.
The menu offers a wide range of choices. The desserts were amazing, our group had the chocolate cake as well as a lemon one. Only negative was the frites were dry, wish I had gotten the mashed potatoes.
Parking garage directly next door was convenient. Make sure to download the Flowbird app so you can pay in the car on your phone and not stand at a meter.

Visited a few weeks back on a Wednesday night it was early around 4:40. 1 st time there. We did not have lunch so we were ready for a good meal.

The restaurant is in a brick building. It kinda looked like a furniture store or a lighting store from the outside. Place was empty given the time.

The good:
The food was very good. Tasty and hot.

We started with the Pork dumplings. Very good and very plump. As opposed to some places where the dumpling contains a small bit of filling and a lot of dough.

I had the Chicken Vodka Parmesan. Again very tasty but not a lot of vodka sauce. The pasta had a nice spicy Fra Diavlo type sauce. The dish also came with a hunk of Burrata on the plate but looked kinda lost or an afterthought. Again it was good, but think a wedge of garlic bread or some type of bread next to the Burrata would have been better for the presentation and complete the plate. It was very good and would get it again. if I were to return.See pic.

My wife had a salad with a shrimp and she enjoyed that as well. Forgot to take pic.

The OK:

Inside was a big cavernous room and a standard bar.

We asked to sit by the fire but was told there was reservation for that table. There was another table near the fire as well by we given a table along the wall. OK fine.

The atmosphere was little cold both in terms of temperature and decor. It would be nice to have some booths to warm up the place along the walls say. Felt a little cafeteria like.

It didn’t matter about the fireplace anyway it was pretty lame with no real flame.

Service was just OK. We were literally the only people sitting at a table at that time and it took the server quite a while to greet us (as she stood talking to the bartender)and get us going. Everything after that was again, fine.

Finally, when paying the check, the check has on it something like the following: ” the restaurant will add an additional 3% if you use a credit card blah blah and went on to say they don’t make any money of this additional fee charged…..” so…I paid with cash. They seemed to have a hard time coming up with the change. If you want to discourage cash give an alternative, like add a Venmo etc.
or build it in the Px.

Most people don’t carry cash(like the restaurant) so it seems a little sketchy.

Left $26 on a $93 check.

To conclude food was good, prices reasonable, atmosphere poor, service OK, check fee weird. Would I go back, probably not, the atmosphere wasn’t doing it for us.

We had a very nice dinner at Ember. We had a larger group of 9 and they easily accommodated us. The waiter was very attentive and the food and drinks were very good! I had the scallops with veggie risotto which was very tasty but heavy on the risotto compared to scallops. My brother in law said the Bolognese was amazing!

We went here for a “date night” tonight and the service and food were incredible. We ate out on the patio, and even though it rained, we were protected by the canopy.
I recently have been eating more vegan and had the spicy vegetable rice noodles and the dish was perfectly seasoned and absolutely divine! The white sangria and roundhouse cocktails were perfect for a summer evening!!!

We had the absolute best rehearsal dinner here! We worked with Jordan and she made all our dreams come true. We picked food off the menu mostly but anything we wanted to tweak the chef accommodated it! The space is so cozy, the food is delish, the staff is professional and delightful! Highly recommend.

We have always enjoyed this place, even having our wedding rehearsal dinner here. But we hadn’t dinner here for over a year until last night. Still as good as ever! A great jambalaya, and a pizza as good as you will find anywhere.

Fully enjoyed our experience at Ember! We went on a Tuesday night so not very busy. Service was great, the waitress was perfectly attentive. Food was also fantastic. We got the fig & goat cheese pizza, spicy vodka pasta, truffle gnocchi and fried chicken sandwich. All was top level. Definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had. Everything tastes like it was actually cooked fresh.
