Let me start by saying I have dined at Ember & Oak more than most and overall I really enjoy the aesthetic of the restaurant and have always enjoyed the menu and food. My partner took me there for our very first Valentine’s dinner together as a couple, and it was perfect. I was excited to find he had made reservations and was taking me again this year for Valentine’s Day!
Coincidentally I had just dined there a few nights before with a friend for our Galentines Day dinner and everything was spot on.
But I simply cannot exclude the experience with the abrupt/ impersonable/ inattentive male bartender that we encountered on Valentine’s night. Having driven from Cocoa Beach, we arrived early for our reservation and decided to have a round of drinks at the bar. My partner ordered me a glass of wine and before he could even order his drink, the male bartender had already turned his back on him. He brought the glass of wine and seemed more annoyed than anything and we couldn’t understand why. He didn’t ask if there was anything else we wanted/ needed or even offer water, etc. My partner was so annoyed with the way he snubbed us that he opted not to order himself a drink.
For such a nice establishment it was just not a pleasant exchange. I mean if you’re paying $60-70 for a round of drinks, you would expect a better experience. Once we were seated, everything else was exceptional, including our server and amazing dinner.

Stopped in for a drink at Happy hour and ended up staying for over an hour.
Bella the bartender made the most delicious drinks. She is a talented mixologist and very personable. Had some appetizers that were amazingly good. Asked if there was any live music in town and Gabriel the bar manager went out of his way to contact a local promoter for us to find out.
The ambiance at the restaurant was very inviting and friendly.
I will definitely be back there for in the future to taste a complete dinner and enjoy the hospitality.

A friend and I visited for dinner on Saturday. I checked in at 6:25 PM and was seated promptly at my 6:30 reservation. While waiting for my friend, our server, Iman, greeted me and recommended several mocktails. Once my friend arrived, he continued to check in until we were ready to order.
We both chose the steak frites, and she added a side of mac & cheese. We started with the Mangrove mocktail—delicious—and the pull-apart, freshly baked bread, which was incredible. When our entrées arrived, my steak was cooked perfectly, tender and buttery under the chimichurri. I also had plenty of fries, which pleasantly surprised me after seeing some reviews mention smaller portions.
Iman remained attentive the entire evening—kind, patient, and never rushed us as we enjoyed our time together. He even offered us a complimentary dessert, and we chose the Biscoff cheesecake, which was absolutely to die for. Even after we paid and realized we had stayed past closing, Iman and the staff were gracious and wished us well as we wrapped up.
If you’re looking for a classy vibe and an elevated dining experience in Melbourne, I highly recommend Amber & Oak for date night, girls’ night, or any night out. Special thanks to Iman for exceptional service—I would return just based on this experience alone.

We love to consider ourselves regulars. This is date night, and it’s always beyond expectations. Service is always exceptional, the staff is knowledgeable on the full menu including drinks and desserts. If you have a question, simply ask! Iman was wonderful.

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ember & Oak! We stopped in for dinner before the Ryan Bingham concert, and we were a little concerned about making it to the show on time. Our server Iman was incredible—we let them know our time constraints, and they made sure our entire meal was perfectly paced so we could get out on time without ever feeling rushed.
Now, the food… wow. We went all-in on the steak board with the 50 oz Black Diamond dry-aged porterhouse, and it was stellar. The best part? My wife and I prefer our steaks cooked to different temperatures, and the kitchen graciously accommodated us by cooking the porterhouse to two different temps on the same board. It was cooked to perfection for both of us!
To top it all off, the cocktails made by Gabe were delicious. The brown butter old fashioned was unique and incredibly smooth, and the dirty martini was mixed just right. We also shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet finish to an amazing meal.
Ember & Oak completely exceeded our expectations with both its outstanding food and top-notch service. It was the perfect start to our night out. We will absolutely be back!

The ribeye was absolutely just as I requested. The waiter, I believe his name was Iman, was spot on with all of his recommendations. The signature steakhouse board was perfect. But the atmosphere reminded me of the lower east side in nyc, classy and comfortable at the same time. The 12 year old Redbreast was perfect with the meal. Highly recommend. Sorry the pictures don’t do it justice because I started eating before I took pictures.

The ambiance here is classic upscale. I came in for happy hour and was VERY pleasantly surprised. The prices are just right for the offerings. The food was great, as well as the drinks. Bella was attentive but not overbearing. I will definitely return to try out more of their offerings.
