Reviews
Location: in the casino.
Service: everyone was very nice. Our waiter, Frey, was very friendly and knowledgeable of the specials and menu items. He was attentive and ensured we had a good experience.
Atmosphere: very nice with dim lighting. White table cloth. Clean. Booths and tables available. I prefer the booths for more privacy. The tables are nice, but you will be closer to others at tables. Small bathroom. Instrumental music.
Attire: you’ll be comfortable as business casual. I wore a dress, my husband wore a plaid button shirt. I saw others in jeans & a nice shirt.
Food: we ordered pork belly appetizer, 20oz ribeye, lobster Mac & cheese, parm truffle fries, and ceasar salad. Our favorite was the pork belly, which is served smoked (like an old fashioned). We enjoyed the steak but not so much the sauces (hollandaise- too thick and demi glace- too runny). The cook on the steak was great and flavorful. We also liked the fries. The ceasar salad was good but nothing special. We were disappointed in the lobster Mac & cheese. It needed more flavor and the lobster was chopped so tiny you wouldn’t know it was there.
Price: comparable to other high end restaurants. Our total with the above food and 1 soft drink was $180. All sides are shareable and about $15. I recommend ordering to share.
Special: for a birthday, they provided free ice cream for dessert.
For an appetizer, I ordered the Pork Belly “Burnt Ends.” Unfortunately, they fell flat as they were extremely dry and lacked the tenderness I was hoping for.
That said, the highlight of the evening was the 14 oz Prime New York Steak. It was absolutely outstanding — tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. It was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a while. The sides were just as impressive. The Macaroni and Cheese was rich and flavorful, and the Au Gratin Potatoes were cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were very generous — honestly enough to share among three to four people.
I also want to give special recognition to the staff. From the hostess to the waiters, everyone went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. The service was attentive, friendly, and truly top-notch.
Despite the appetizer missing the mark, the incredible steak, delicious sides, and exceptional service made this a memorable dining experience. Bravo!
Drink was sweet tea and it was great
Food:
Appetizer: bacon wrapped shrimp
First course: Lobster bisque
Main: I got the 14oz boneless wagyu ribeye ( it was amazing and worth every penny of the 115$ the flavor was rich and deep)
My wife got the 20oz bone in ribeye ( it was light tasting and delicious)
Sides: crawfish mac and cheese and fully loaded mashed potatoes. The portions on the sides are gigantic which is really nice.
Something sweet: we got the chocolate lava cake ( amazing and stuffed with chocolate)
Our waiter was Eli Darbonne and he’s was super friendly, knowledgeable, and over all a fantastic waiter. Our bill was 318$ and worth every penny for an amazing anniversary dinner!
