A one of a kind restaurant experience. The owner greets you, Takes your order and cooks everything fresh. I had a an egg dish with veggies scrambled in, hash browns and toast. My friend got the sauteed veggies with rice and sausage. He left off the egg. The food was delicious. It took a little longer to be served because the owner was cooking it herself. She was kind and welcoming.

We had breakfast there this morning and it was good. We both had the scramble with vegetables and sausage. It was more than both of us could eat – 2 meals for the price of one! Such a deal! The veggies were fresh and the rice was done perfectly. We will be coming back to try the lunches!

Nothing authentic about this food. Raw broccoli, carrots and cauliflower? Bland and boring. When I was asked why I didn’t want the food to go I tried to be kind and just say no thank you but she said “you don’t like the food?” Then proceeded to argue with me about the veggies and tell me how long she has been cooking there very rude and upset. And this AFTER I had to listen to her phone playing over the radio in the otherwise completely empty resturaunt during peak lunch hour. No traditional peapods, bean sprouts and flavor. This soup was worse than you can buy packaged in the gro store.

This place has the BEST prices for the portion size of the food. I got the chow mein and fried rice and it was EASILY enough to feed 4 people and only cost me 20$ for both dishes. Everything is made fresh and to order and is run by the sweetest older lady. Awesome family owned business that I will support as long as I’m in the area.

It’s been quite some time since I tried Ely’s but the meal I had here was without a doubt the worst I’ve had in Sequim. It was chicken, rice and vegetables but tasted exactly as if it had come out of a microwavable frozen food box–and I remember being convinced that it had. I couldn’t finish it and I’ve never been so disappointed in a restaurant meal. I said I would never go again but by the tone of some of these reviews it sounds like things might have improved and I need to give it another chance.

We came here for breakfast on a Saturday, it wasn’t busy but the wait was quite literally almost an hour.
The food was okay, homey and good but nothing exceptional.
However the staff was great, the restaurant was calm and they even gave my son a little dinosaur toy when we were seated.

Really tasty, really spicy yellow chicken curry. My cold vermicelli salad bowl was also delicious. (all the vermicelli bowls are served cold. I didn’t realize this, but it was still great) I thought the American deserts were okay, I’d say go, but go for the Asian food.

Have loved this place for years. Ely has always been kind and taken very good care of us and makes us feel like we have come home for a meal.
Food does take time, but I never mind since I am prepared to sit and visit. The menu is a bit all over the place, but there is something for everyone. The potato pancake is my fav or the Bun Thit Nuong.

I had the tofu w vegetables as I was just wanting veggies. It was good. The vegetables were fresh and nicely cut. It was just a little bland tho..needed garlic or ginger or something. It most like a plain veggie stir fry. Just missing a little something.

As noted by everyone, very long wait. Having lived in the Los Angeles/Orange County area and accustomed to excellent Asian food, I was appalled at the incredibly bad food. The pot stickers were fried to the point of being burned. The Kung pao chicken was equally terrible with no taste, poorly seasoned, etc. It is obvious that all the rave reviews have no idea what great, or even good Chinese food tastes like and are willing to settle for food that anyone with a wok could prepare at home.
