Stopped by Ely for lunch today and decided to try somewhere new. Walking into this restaurant, you’re greeted by two lovely staff and the decor was very charming. We ordered the passion fruit mocktails, hummus starter, chicken special, mint teas, and pistachio cheesecake.
Every dish was fresh and spot on with flavor. The mocktails looked stunning and were a balance of tart and sweet. The hummus was light and bread was pillowy and warm. The star of the meal was the Chicken Special. The chicken wings had an amazing grilled exterior with the marinade hitting to the bone. The chicken beyti had a great texture and was full of spices. The chicken shish was marinaded and juicy.
To finish the meal, we had mint tea and a pistachio cheesecake. The tea was a refreshing contrast to the rich pistachio flavor of the cheesecake. The sauces that came with the cheesecake also gave the dessert a well rounded flavor.
Would absolutely recommend and will be back.

Description of the minimalist perfection. You can get the taste of every ingredient when you having freshly cooked meal. Less is more. Decent staff, clean environment and friendly atmosphere. The best you can expect from a Turkish restaurant.

The food and atmosphere were good, but a word to the staff, could you leave people alone while they eating? There are some who don’t gobble 3 course meal at once, so stop staring and keep asking if everything is alright. Other than that, it was rather nicely time spent.

We were close by and after looking at their menu, decided to go in, reasonable size restaurant, food preparation is all done at the back of the restaurant, with a small bar area at the entrance. We chose to have a set meal for two, and were very impressed by the quality, quantity, taste and presentation of everything served. Unless you are extremely hungry recommend missing a starter, they bring out bread with olives, a spicy dip along with a yogurt and mint dip. Be aware they automatically put a 10% service charge on the bill, given the service was good, we didn’t need a starter due to the free servings, it is a very reasonable addition. The staff were attentive without being obtrusive, the environment was clean and modern, and, critically, the food was excellent and was delivered to our table quickly. I’m not an expert on Turkish food but the menu looks extensive enough to meet a wide range of tastes. Recommend.

Amazing Turkish restaurant! We had a wonderful birthday celebration in the evening and were extremely satisfied. The meats were so tender that they literally melted in your mouth—no need to chew much. The flavors were perfectly balanced. I would definitely recommend it for families; the prices are very reasonable. There’s nothing lacking—only plenty of good things! If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely come back. It’s worth going even from a distance!” Teşekkürler

Brilliant turkish restaurant. Walked in late on Saturday evening, other places down the street were empty, this place was full so we took that as a good sign – and it was. It was quite noisy because it was full, but we were in a little nook and were quite happy. Service was good and the food was absolutely delicious. There was complementary flat bread and dips to start, and the chicken asparagus dish was lovely. Price wise it was excellent value. Definitely worth a try, if I visit Ely again I will be back

We booked a table for 4 for a girls evening and we were really looking forward to it.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. One of us had a pram with a 5 month old baby, and the reaction we received made us feel like a complete inconvenience.
Instead of being welcomed or helped to find a suitable space for the pram, we were told it would need to be placed out of reach and out of sight from our table, which is obviously not acceptable when you have a young baby with you. The whole situation made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Because of this, we decided not to proceed with our booking and chose to leave. This then left us trying to find somewhere else to eat on a busy Saturday early evening, which wasn’t ideal at all.
We completely understand that space can be limited, but the way this was handled lacked basic customer care. It was really disappointing as we all looking forward to a nice chilled evening.
Overall, we won’t be booking and attending the premises again!
